I had a fairly new blade that would not cut, perhaps I dulled it slicing a frozen turkey. I put this blade on and all my problems with were solved. It tracks straight and it cuts with little resistance a little expensive but it works well

The best band saw blade I have ever had or used. Tom

I bought this in the 1/2 size. Over the years Ive had a lot of 1/2 bandsaw blades. This blade was fine, however I didnt think it was anything special in terms of cutting quality or longevity. Im not saying anything negative about the blade, just that it didnt obviously stand a head and shoulders above any of the others I used. It did come with a very nice, detailed explanation about how to tension the blade to get the best cutting results from it, something I never saw with any of the other, cheaper blades. Its well-made and I recommend it, but its three times the price of other, cheaper blades Ive used, and if you damage it by accident (like forgetting to tension the blade before turning the saw on) youve just destroyed a $35 blade instead of a $12 one. I bought a second one recently (on a whim) and that one arrived defective with a rough weld that made a tinking noise each time it passed through the Cool Blocks. I feared the rough weld was eroding the Cool Blocks, so I quieted it slightly by smoothing the weld with a fine diamond stone. However, the weld is also misaligned, causing the blade to hop forward (at the weld) each time the weld comes around. I would have returned it, however I needed the blade immediately for a job I was involved in, so kept it. The blade cuts fine in spite of the weld problem, but not especially so.

Wow... these blades are amazing. Ive used bosch blades for years, never expecting there ro be much difference between plain steel blades... but these are no pin steel blades. They cut very fast with much lower tension and follow a line much better than the other blades Ive used. If your thinking of trying out these blades to see if there is a difference ... dont wait. Buy them now. If you dont , when you finally get around to it, youll wonder why youve suffered with subpar blades when these are readily available. They make my Harbor Freight 14 inch saw cut like a champ.

Purchased quite a while ago and did not want to review until I put it to use. Value was very good. The item came with easy to follow directions and care. Put it on my saw and did not take it off from the day it arrived. I have not needed to sharpen it or remove it from the saw. I am very happy with this product. So I believe it was on the saw about 6 months straight. Yesterday it cracked and today I am looking to see if I can weld it back together.

I set it up as instructed. It cuts extremely well. It cuts clean with very fine tooth marks and narrow kerf. I like the low tension required for this blade. I know it cost more but it should last much longer. I resharpen my other blades two or three times and if I can do so with this blade I will more than get my moneys worth.

I bought this because I has been attempting to rip a piece of seasoned ash and the factory blade on my Ridgid 14 bandsaw was not cutting it (literally). After installing this new blade, the bandsaw went through the ash like butter. I was impressed. Totally worth the price. A few things I found useful. If you are not familiar with replacing a bandsaw blade (I wasnt), its helpful to watch a few videos and have your manufacturers guide handy to figure out how to get all the guides and guards out of the way. On my saw there were at least half dozen things above, below, and to the side that needed to be moved/removed before a new blade would go in. A couple were hidden out of sight below the table. It would have taken me alot longer to figure out without the resources. Uncoil the new blade wearing gloves. The blade is like razor wire and the metal hoop acts like a spring, so uncoiling can be a bit exciting -- you dont want several feet of razor sharp metal springing open and flying around your face, or worse. Its hard to control it with bare hands. Mine ended up on the concrete floor. Lesson learned. After installation, take the time to make all the adjustments to make the blade track true on the tires, with the right tension, square to the table, with minimal vibration or drift. Again, Youtube and the manual are your friends. It took me about 30 minutes to get the whole thing done, but it was time very well spent, and using the tool afterward was effortless. Its actually enjoyable to use now.

I can only say that since I have purchased it, its cut any thing I have put in front of it.

New bandsaw owner (used Jet 14”) and after reading online about the highest quality blades I decided to go ahead and spend the extra money on the Timber Wolf. I had alread upgraded my saw with the Rockler 10 bearing guide kit but the blade that came with the saw still wandered all over the place and took way too much pressure to cut even soft wood. It felt sharp to me but I knew it needed replacing. Well once I installed and tuned the new 1/2” Timber Wolf blade, I marked a straight square line across scrap wood and cut it using the miter gauge. It tracked the line perfectly and went through it like I was cutting air. Spend the extra cash, you won’t be disappointed. I did not give a stat on longevity as I haven’t had it very long but will come back and revise this review once I’ve put some use into it.
