> 24 hourI have used Titebond III since it came out. I use it over (the less expensive but just as strong) Titebond II for two purposes- one is moisture susceptible wood joints the other is Black Walnut or any other dark wood where appearance benefits from the dark glue line when dry. Much cheaper here from Hardware World than a box store if you combine products.

Cooks Custom Wood Working
> 24 hourIf you do any kind of wood working that requires glue, this is all you need. I build cabinets for a hobby. I used to used biscuits to make table or cabinet tops. With this stuff I just butt joint the boards together and clamp them. I guarantee you will not get them apart. The squeeze out you can just use a damp cloth to clean it up, ( as long as it is still wet )

> 24 hourI worked in a cabinet shop, titebond was the only adhesive wed ever use. First it was the yellow Titebond II, then it was Titebond III since its a little easier to clean up (the yellow is a pervasive stainer). And its great, itll glue your wood, man. Stronger than the wood itself etc, etc, etc. Is that good? Maybe not. In my home shop, I found the titebond overly messy, annoyingly opaque, and once it sets thats it - the woods secure. But I use joinery, mortises, tenons, dovetails, pegs, drawbores! What if I want to veneer? Inlay? I dont want wood to splinter if it needs to come apart and readjust post glueup. Im using hide glue now. Its clear and tacky with a very lenient setup time. If I mess up I heat the joint and try again. Titebond III gets 5 stars if youre looking to use thick, gunky, cement. 3 stars for fine furniture glue.
