I needed water proof glue for a larger out door project and this has been a very good glue. A large bottle for the price

Works great and it is stronger than wood after it cures

I love this glue. Have been using it for a long time. Allows time to adjust pieces and once cured is the strongest bond for clean wood to clean wood.

Titebond III is an excellent wood glue: grabs and holds quickly, even though it takes 24 hours to cure completely. Quite water-resistant after it dries. Produces a hard, sandable surface, not rubbery. Setting much more predictable than Gorilla Glue.

Im new to woodglues in general having never really used any before but holy $!#@ does this stuff work. It takes a while to dry completely but give it 24 hrs in dry warm conditions and the wood aint coming apart unless you really really really want it to. I will definitely buy again and definitely recommend to anyone who asks what Woodglue they should try.

Exactly what I needed for a glass project outside. I tried a few pieces before getting too far into the project and was very pleased with the staying power of the glue. We’ve had several heavy rains since I used it and it has held up exactly as advertised.

Im something of a tinkerer when it comes to crafts. I build models, briefcases, artificial Bonsai trees, bows and arrows, furnishings, SteamPunk creations and more. When working with porous materials, Im always looking for a good glue, but I usually go with what experts recommend. My bad. Experts always seem to recommend some esoteric substance the finding of which makes Indiana Jones quest for the Holy Grail look simple and the using of which would confuse the hell out of Rube Goldberg. I have Indys hat and Rubes love of complicated, but I just aint got that kind of time. So after a total fail using the experts glue when I was making some laminated wood bows, I glomed onto Tightbond III from an obscure website I was perusing for anything other than the witchs brew mess I had tried before (based on the experts opinion). Ive never looked back. I make reflex-deflex longbows (they look kind of like really long recurves, without as much recurve) usually out of hickory and bamboo laminates. Ive also used rawhide laminates on longbows. The reflex-deflex longbows are glued straight and then wrapped tight to clamp and placed in a form that it will keep once the glue dries. Ive made about half a dozen so far and only the expert recommend glue delaminated under stress. The Tightbond III stayed together, and still stays together. To say these joints are stressed would be a gross understatement. Ill shoot 400+ shots in a practice session and Ive never had a Tightbond bow come apart. Those laminations are flexible (they have to be to bend while drawing) and tight. They dont slip or deform. Ive never gone back to the experts choice since. That was my introduction to it and since then Ive used it on just about everything that it can be used on. Leather projects are strong and flexible, wood projects are firm and the hold is exceptional. Its important to understand how to glue the stuff youre gluing to get the best performance out of it, but for the record, its the best glue Ive ever used in any crafting project. Learn how to glue in the first place and this will be the only glue youll ever need for wood/porous materials.
