Titebond 1415 III Ultimate Wood Glue, 32-Ounce Bottle,Tan, 1 Qt

I worked in a cabinet shop, titebond was the only adhesive wed ever use. First it was the yellow Titebond II, then it was Titebond III since its a little easier to clean up (the yellow is a pervasive stainer). And its great, itll glue your wood, man. Stronger than the wood itself etc, etc, etc. Is that good? Maybe not. In my home shop, I found the titebond overly messy, annoyingly opaque, and once it sets thats it - the woods secure. But I use joinery, mortises, tenons, dovetails, pegs, drawbores! What if I want to veneer? Inlay? I dont want wood to splinter if it needs to come apart and readjust post glueup. Im using hide glue now. Its clear and tacky with a very lenient setup time. If I mess up I heat the joint and try again. Titebond III gets 5 stars if youre looking to use thick, gunky, cement. 3 stars for fine furniture glue.

Ok so my husband and I bought an older home and completely re did our home. We ended up sanding down the kitchen cabinets and repainting them with new hardware. A year later the front of our kitchen drawer started coming unattached (probably because my 3 year old opens and slams it shut constantly). We tried gorilla glue and it failed and just accepted we’d have to spend the money and buy a whole new drawer. I saw the reviews on amazon and decided to take a chance and OH MY GOSH. My husband re sanded our drawer and used this wood glue and it’s like a brand new drawer!! What an absolute life saver/amazing product!

Exactly what I needed for a glass project outside. I tried a few pieces before getting too far into the project and was very pleased with the staying power of the glue. We’ve had several heavy rains since I used it and it has held up exactly as advertised.

Only two types of people will be reading this review. First, those who are woodworkers and have never tried TB3 (is this even POSSIBLE???). Buy it. it has excellent open time, fantastic initial hold, glues pretty most all woods, has a good temperature range and is easy to clean up. Youll end using up your other glues up and exclusively using this. Except if you are a hide-glue user or fizzing-epoxy user, but these do different things. TB3 is the business. It is a Second, newbies. You are going to agonise over glue. Youll end up buying all 3 tight bonds, a bunch of different polys and a good range of multi part urethanes. All of this will be justified by reviews, ads, friends, offers, specials and so on. Invariably you will be quite happy with your wall of adhesives. Sadly, they will be little used. You will however, use the TB3 a few times on boxes, boards and maybe a table. Then you will use it for everything. You will look at your Big Box of Adhesives for every project and consider the merits of each and carefully balance how this-or-that would work well with your maple box.... however, your hand will be on the bottle of TB3 as if guided by God.

Arrived already opened with a few oz missing. None of the missing glue was in the box. I havent used it yet, so I dont know if it was thinned, but now Im worried that it will even work.
