i just got this cable today and i plugged it in and it works great. i have yet to use it for my PS2 but, i imagine it would work just fine. the only thing i have yet to learn about it is what the blue plug on it is for. im not sure what that part does yet but, outside of that, the cable is in great condition and works exactly the way it should. Also, i highly recommend getting this cable if you have both PS2 and PS3 as it will save you money on buying a replacement cable for your PS2 when its original cable wears out because you can simply switch out the cord, between the two systems, and not have to buy another cable because you would have one cable for both systems(separately, of course, not simultaneously).

I ordered this Monday night and received it on Saturday. This is very fast for free shipping and no minimum order. I was very happy about this. However when I plugged everything in, turned tv on, switched tv to composite input, and turned ps3 on nothing happened. I thought I had received a dud. I did a google search and discovered that in order to switch ps3 to composite output you have to hold the power button down when youre turning it on until you here the second beep. I did this and now the video was working but it was on standard definition. So I went into the ps3 display settings and got it to display in 1080p. Everything works perfect now. I hope this helps anybody thats having problems with theirs.

used to connect a ps2 and have it look great on an hdtv and it performs well.
