Love the polished bowl. It sounds silly but having a spoon that has a mouth feel that actually feels like a nice spoon youd use at home is great. I find plastic spoons or spoons with rough textures unpleasant to eat with for any extended period of time.

Get that lil bit in the corner of the mountain house bag.

The spork itself is great. Its super light, strong, very easy to clean with a wet wipe, and the length is perfect. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the little carrying bag it came in. It looked good, weighs almost nothing, and has a drawstring closure to keep the utensil clean when its packed away. But I went on a two-day backpacking trip after I got the spork to use it for the first time, and by the end of it the spork had torn through the bottom of its bag. I think the bag is just a little too small for the utensil when you pull the drawstring tight. Its a relatively small detail but its part of the deal, so I include it as part of my overall product experience. Also, I highly recommend the smooth coated end version of this and not the rough one. The texture of the uncoated titanium would be pretty unpleasant on the lips & teeth.

Light strong, polished spoon easy to clean. In other words, perfect.

Not impressed, used it for the first time and washed it in dawn dish soap with a paper towel. The coating (which who knows what it is) is coming off. I bought two of these and now I dont consider it safe to use to eat with.

It is what it says it is. However, I didnt realize that the handle had that dry, raspy feel to it. I understand its to prevent slipping, especially in wet conditions. But I cant help but grind my teeth every time I have to pick up the spork. In hindsight, I also regret not getting one with the hook on the end, to help with lifting the hot pot. But that is my fault with going with cheaper price over function.

I love it. You cant do any better.

Works great for getting down in freeze dried food bags without getting your hands burned or messy. A little harder to pack effectively account the length but not a deal breaker.
