I have another long handle titanium spork which works very well, but it just seemed like it was shy of reaching to the bottom of the bag and I didnt like the idea of my hand dipping into the contents of my food after tooling around in the woods all day. I did not take a pic of these side by side, but for the small addition of length it makes all the difference. It is comfortable to hold, isnt pokey or sharp in the mouth and I notice no metallic or off taste. Very happy with purchase and would recommend to others.

This is a great improvement in the backpacking world - now we can stir and eat from freeze dry pouches comfortably without getting food all over our hands! This spork is simple, light and reasonably priced.

Buy this. Seriously. I abuse this thing and it still looks brand new after over a year (including an AT thru). It is perfect for cooking in a backpacking stove with as well as eating.

Long enough to get down in the bottom of the larger freeze dried meal bags. Light and strong.

Works about like you would expect it to. Plenty long for getting to the bottom of a deep meal pouch or quart sized bag. If you get oatmeal/instant potatoes/spices on the handle, its a bit of a pain to clean with out running water. Makes for a nice grip, but would be better if only maybe half as much of it was coated/textured.

Super light and easily reaches into the freeze-dried meal pouches!
