> 3 dayI bought this laptop case for my new Dell XPS 17. It fits in easily, along with the Toshiba #DTX220 2 TB backup drive in the pocket. I havent dropped it or checked for waterproofing yet. I hope I never do. I recommend.

Greater than one weekThe only thing I dont love about this case is the zipper closure...I wish the zippers started on the bottom and ended at the top (where the handle is). Its hard to explain, but the hinge of the case is where the handle is instead of the handle being opposite the hinge. Im scared to death that if the zippers dont get 100% closed and I pick it up that my chromebook will fall out. (As it stands, when you pick it up by the handle, the zippers meet at the bottom.) HOWEVER, its a very easy work around (I just use one zipper so that it does end back up at the handle) and, otherwise, I love this case. It looks nice, has tons of padding, and is incredibly soft inside. It fits the dimensions of my chromebook perfectly, so I dont worry about it sliding around.

Greater than one weekI want to like this one too but, its supposed to be a perfect fit for the exact model Ive got. It isnt. These arent cheap and if they dont fit just right it doesnt feel like a good deal. The interior padding and lining quality isnt quite what I had previously either. So thats to big hits. Given the price Ill have to just use it for a while. Maybe eventually find a replacement.

> 3 dayOnly unzips at short end. I am used to unzips around 3 sides, so I was surprised. Have continued to use & think this probably makes case safer, am not unhappy. Handle is decent quality. Exceptional value . Delivered within 24 hours of order!

> 3 dayI love this bag. I bought this bag for two reasons, the padded corners to protect both my laptop and the zipper on the bag, and the side zipper. I have bought two laptop sleeves previously, and they both broke, one immediately, the other after a month. With my previous sleeves, both zippers split at the corners and hit my laptop every time I closed them. I Love The SIDE zipper. I feel confident carrying my laptop. Even if it were to split, I would have a half second to catch my laptop as it slid out. FOR ALL STUDENTS: since the sleeve opens on the side, if one were to carry laptop in the sleeve in a backpack, the laptop can slide out of the sleeve easily while in the backpack. One does NOT have to remove the entire sleeve from the backpack to take out/put in the laptop. The handle on the sleeve feels secure and can also handle the weight of my laptop and an overstuffed pocket full of other gadgets and chargers. A negative aspect of the sleeve is the zipper on the bag seems more likely to break than the zipper the actual laptop holding area. Also, I bought this sleeve for my 15.7 gaming laptop, and when zipping the bag, I have to pull up the padded corners around my laptop, because it just barely fits. I wish i had a quarter of an inch more space onside, so my laptop could just slid in. I would highly recommend this product, and forgo the sleeves that dont have handles, and open on the bottom.

> 3 dayWorked ok, except, that it could have been made a little bit tougher, like, it should have a thin but hard plastic divider between the tablet pocket and the accessory pocket. I broke my tablet screen because someone, not me, put pressure on the protruding plug that was in the accessory pocket, which put undue focused pressure on the tablet screen causing the screen to break, costing me $200. Other than that, it has ok padding on the outside, keeping it well protected from scratches and light throwing around. it is very soft and nicely lined inside. SUGGESTION, Dont buy until you decide if you are going to buy a tablet case, I bought it before and now my tablet with case does not fit this sleeve.

> 3 dayI bought this case for my surface book pro with performance base, which this product was advertised as specifically designed for. I really wanted this case to work. Its very attractive, the outside is great. I love the cable storage side pocket. However, the INTERNAL DIMENSIONS ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED. It says 13.25, but in reality the actual surface base where you can place your device is 12.5. That 3/4 inch of padding. Further contributing to lost surface area is their choice to do an internal rube ribbing that lines the inside of the case. Im all about protection, but the surface book (with performance base) itself is 12 1/4 without any kind of hard protection, so that makes for a VERY tight squeeze. To shut it, you have to zip very slowly and carefully, shifting around the padding as you go. No one wants it to take 2 minutes to close their laptop case every time. Plus, the likelihood of the zipper getting caught on the padding while shutting seems very high. Do not buy this case if you have a hard shell case on your surface pro with performance base. I have the Brenthaven hard case on mine (I removed it in the above paragraph), which extends my surface book width to about 12.6 and it doesnt fit at all. Anyone who uses the surface book as a tablet should have a hard case to prevent accidents, its a large tablet, accidets are likely to happen because of its unwieldyness (Not that I dont love the tablet mode, I do indeed.) The verdict, the product internal dimensions are 3/4 inches smaller than advertised. Even if you dont have a hardshell case like me, it is a dangerous fit for an unprotected surface pro with performance base. You will have trouble fitting it and the case is likely to break very quickly.
