I recently purchased an hp envy x360 2 in 1 15.6 laptop. At almost a $1000, I was looking for a durable and protective case with storage room for my pricey acquisition. Having purchased tomtoc products for my other devices, I knew they would have what I was looking for at a great price point. I chose this particular case because it offered the non bulky additional storage I wanted for accessories and personal belongings in a secure double zipped outer pocket with bands to secure your belongings as well as additional space for writing tools, notepads, wallet, phone and more. The side zip pocket is lined in a plush thick material to ensure easy storing and protection from scratches and such. The inner lining offers shock resistance from corner to corner. My laptop slipped right in as well as my mouse pad and journals. Its not a snug fit but its the perfect size for my needs. The top retractable handle is sturdy and well made. The color combination I chose is eye catching and sleek. Overall Im very satisfied with this additional tomtoc product. Having experience with other tomtoc cases, I feel secure in that my device is well protected in case of accidental drops, liquid spills, and zippers sliding open. Great for travel, work, school or just plain protection. The price points are great and the quality is outstanding.

    Greater than one week

Why did I wait so long to buy a laptop desk? Often I like to sit on the sofa and browse on my laptop and the poor laptop would overheat and my legs would get hot. I like to cross my legs so the laptop was balanced on one leg or propped up on a pillow. this is not good for the air circulation of the laptop. I had been looking at laptop desks for awhile but many looked too bulky. This desk is compact and fits my 13 Macbook pro with 1.5 to spare on each side. it has a wrist rest which is comfortable and also prevents the laptop from sliding. The pads for your legs are comfortable and not too stiff. Easy to carry with handle.

I bought the one sized for a 13.3-13.5 Macbook Air, and it fits my Thinkpad X1 Carbon (5th gen) perfectly. The case seems very nicely made and reasonably water repellent, and I like the look of the black with tan handle. The side pocket is reasonably big and expands. For travel, I can easily stick the Thinkpad and an iPad Air 2 in the main compartment. The side pocket holds my computer glasses+case, an Apple USB-C wall charger+cable (thats what I use for the Thinkpad), a couple of other small USB chargers and cables, a pair of AirPods in their case, and even a Panasonic DMC-GM1 camera with pancake lens (though thats about the limit of the thickness). The case is also very light compared. Overall, Im very pleased.

Very good item, but my laptop is a bit too large to slide in without difficulty.

Fits my dell laptop perfectly. The exterior pocket is large enough to hold the charging brick/cables, multiple USB hubs, a portable mouse, mouse pad, ethernet cable and USB adapter, steklo stand, and eyeglasses case. I could probably even fit a little more. Very pleased with the overall quality of the bag. No issues with the zippers or seams. The padded interior feels substantial and the reinforced corners are present and gives me a lot of confidence. Great bag. Highly recommend it.

This case is great... high quality materials, looks nice, compact size. BUT, the exterior zipper pouch is about 1/2 an inch too small to hold regular sized paper!!!! Theres no reason it needs to be this way. Such a shame. I (like I imagine most working people) very often have at least a few pieces of paper to carry around, and if the pouch was literally half an inch bigger it would be absolutely perfect for a decent stack of printouts. So, now I find myself looking for something else unfortunately.

i couldnt be happier. Ive searched amd searched for the perfect soft case thin but super protective bag. this is it. next up would be a hard case. This case cushions all around all sides. Ive even sat my laptop down a little less than gently and didnt cringe. Its also thin enough too take in my already thin Crystalyn Kae work bag and i still have room! Also, the handle isnt leather and its nice and sturdy! perfect for vegans. UPDATE: Its been several weeks and I still love it ! It has now traveled w/ me by plane once and no issues. I wanted to make a comment about the most negative comments I have read which is regarding the zipper. First of all, its obvious where the zippers are. It is essentially backwards but in my mind easy to note and remember, zippers are here not HERE. I think some reviewers have noted that their laptop has fallen out because they forgot to zip it and assumed picking it up by the handle was all they needed to do. First of all, who puts their laptop in its case and doesnt zip it immediately even if youre going nowhere? Also, when I zip or unzip it, I am at a flat surface...so I am not clear why the laptop falls out and even If youre standing w/ it - you have complete control and are actively knowing where the zippers are. POINT: DONT let the zipper comments deter you.

I bought this case specifically because I needed something protective that could fit inside a backpack. I felt like I had to write a review given how varied some of the information is in Tomtocs pictures/website and others experiences. I purchased the blue/black case in the 15.6in size. I have a Lenovo ThinkPad P50 ( at WxDxH=14.86 x 9.93 x 1.02 and 5.6lbs, its a brick). I received the version of the case with a zipper for the main compartment along the right edge only and one large pocket in the front, which was pretty much what I expected. The exterior has the durable material youd expect from a nice backpack. I bet it could take some abuse and an occasional spill from my water bottle without much effect. It has a bit of a sheen under natural light (it was a cloudy day). Sticking a ruler onto the back edge opposite the zipper and measuring perpendicular to it, the case is just about 16 wide. Measuring inside from corner to corner, its about 17.75 to the cushion lining and exactly 18 to the outer zipper. I placed my computer into it without making any adjustments, and the corners of the machine extend just a hair past where the cushion lining starts. I then ran my finger around the perimeter of the case to stretch it over the corners of the machine, which did with ease (it even comfortably fit over the USB mouse connector. Finally, I placed the charging brick, cord, rolled up mouse pad, and a Logitech M510 mouse into the front compartment. Both compartments zipped easily without me having to tug on them or straining the zipper. The height of the case with the machine and gear in it comes to 3.75. Theres nothing special about the case, but it does exactly what I need: fits the computer + basic gear comfortably, and can slide into my backpack. I never plan to carry the case around by itself and I think I would be frustrated with the lack of storage space if I tried to do so. The protection it will provide is mostly from cosmetic damage and a leaky water bottle. I bet it could handle a small drop at a mild angle, but I suspect Id be sorry if I dropped it onto its corner or edge from table height or higher.

Fits hp pavilion x360 14 well. Width as exact as can be. The height maybe an inch extra but overall great fit for this laptop. Nice soft lining and extra pocket holds charger & mouse

This is a very nice case. For twice the price it would be worth the money. I bought this for a mac book pro. Since I am using a J5 create docking station(very light weight and portable) I went with the next size up so I can transport them both. The docking station is about 2 longer than the Mac book. I am an industrial designer for a living and I can tell you the form function and style is really nice. highly recommend.
