> 3 dayI am sooo excited to be trying EC!! I am almost done reading the book - and I’m so impressed by Andrea and her passion! My husband and I “caught” our first poop and potty with our 2 month old boy today! Looking forward to this journey! Unfortunately, for some reason our top hat potty didn’t come with the cozy….do you think you could send us one as I believe it was supposed to be included…?

18-04-2025I know many EC parents absolutely love the top hat potty, but I would recommend getting the Baby Potty Mini from the same company (Tiny Undies) instead. It’s the same price and still small enough to fit in a diaper bag, but more stable and more versatile than the top hat potty, in my opinion.

> 3 daySome reviews are stating that they got just the cozy, which made me weary of buying but I received everything! Excited to give it a try! Perfect size for a newborn for EC!

> 3 dayIt is sturdy and handy. Comfortable for babies who cannot sit unsupported. The cloth is nice and durable. White is good and bad because you can see when its dirty I washed in the machine easy enough. Since my son didnt seem to mind sitting on the plastic I haven’t put it back on.

> 3 dayStarted using this potty when our son was two weeks old. It fits him just right. After taking him potty on a schedule he now uses it more than diapers at three months old. Great investment. Most people dont believe us when we say our baby uses a potty. With a little effort on our part to take him regularly, he will surely be toilet trained very early. Wish we would of had this potty for our first child. It was hard finding one small enough but this is just right for infants.

> 3 dayIf you want your kid to suffer from constipation and have obsessive compulsive disorder, buy this gadget. Baby care was invented eons ago…no need to reinvent the wheel and do things that damage your kid’s well-being.

> 3 dayUpdate Dec 5th 2019: Found another awesome way to use this. As a travel potty! I pop a biodegradable dog poop bag in it (we have a dog, so had bags handy) and voila, potty on the go. My baby has used it this way a few times now when out and about. Its (literally) freezing cold here now, so pottying her in the great outdoors isnt really an option. Plus when running errands the baggy is great because she can go in the nice warm car, I tie a knot, and can dispose of it later when Im able to. Very helpful with a tiny baby! I just gave birth to my second baby a week ago. We EC with our first, and I remember seeing this potty and wondering if it would be worth it, but never tried it. Fast forward six years, and wow I wish Id have bought it back then! It is SO EASY to use. My eight day old daughter has pretty clear cues for when she has to pee and poop. This potty has made pottying her so easy we have caught almost every pee and poop since we got it. She is too small to actually be sat on it, but because of the shape/size I can rest my own hands on it as I support her legs, back and head with my body. Its great. The cotton fleece cozy is a fantastic addition too. Coming into winter its nice not to have to touch the cold plastic, or to have her body touch it! We havent really left our house with her yet, but when we do Ill be bringing this with us!

18-04-2025We love practicing elimination communication with our son, but because he has a peepee, it never fits into the top hat, we try to stuff it down in there but it will pop back out when he starts to pee. needless to say, weve had quite a few accidents on our bathroom counter. Its still functional though, as it catches all his poop and if we aim his peepee at the sink while he uses it! also, easy to clean, we just fill it with sink water and throw his poop in the toilet when hes done!
