A lot of the negative reviews are about people buying just the cozy (which is half the price, but because it doesnt include the potty). Their reviews literally read extra undyed cozy. My little girl struggles to go poo and even though she is breastfed, she gets constipated sometimes. After 2 days of offering the potty, she just used it to poo and completely emptied herself! What a relief for her! She liked it so much more than how she usually goes (which is when I change her). She hasnt pooped in her diaper since a month old, except skid marks, so this is a great option recommended for her by her doctor. I did have trouble getting the poop out of the potty and into the toilet. It made a huge mess, but with some practice in my end this will be amazing for our family!

I am sooo excited to be trying EC!! I am almost done reading the book - and I’m so impressed by Andrea and her passion! My husband and I “caught” our first poop and potty with our 2 month old boy today! Looking forward to this journey! Unfortunately, for some reason our top hat potty didn’t come with the cozy….do you think you could send us one as I believe it was supposed to be included…?

Still working on the correct position to not get peed on. I suggest if you do this in your lap to use a we we pad to cover your legs. The way my baby girl pees it end up all over me. It hasn’t discouraged my EC journey. But this has made for an excellent on the go, . Can use it in the bathroom Discreetly.

I wasnt sure if I needed this over just a bowl for EC but got it and definitely glad I did! My newborn chunked up fast so its much easier resting her on the potty than holding her over a bowl. I also love the curve that helps catch the pee (make sure to tip the potty towards you like it says in the video!) I will say that I wish it came with a cover that could snap onto the top once theres pee in it! I think I would feel more comfortable bringing it on outings if it had that ...

We love this potty! We’ve tried others and this is the best so we bought several for around the house. Our baby started using it at 6 weeks. The company is quick to respond with any issues. Highly recommend it!!

I was surprised how small this was. My newborn is on the larger side and when I saw the size of this top hat I decided to return it and just use the insert from a toddler potty. Its worked great, especially since I have a son and the potty insert is raised in the front which has saved be numerous times.

I started EC with my son when he was 2 months old. Its nearly impossible to catch his urine as there is no splash guard. I never used the fabric as it would get soiled each time I used it. I feel as though I paid $25 for a plastic bucket. It was fine for catching poops at first, but he very quickly became more squirmy and the top hat was just too unstable. I switched to the mini potty at around 3.5 months, and I wish I would have just skipped the top hat altogether and saved myself the money.
