> 3 dayI have 2-6 bulb fixtures in the master bathroom. Dissapointed in the longevity of the bulb! They start flickering (strobe light effect) long before they burn out making it impossible to be in the bathroom for any length of time. Sorry I can not recommend this bulb no matter what the energy savings is.

22-11-2024I like the 5000K Daylight bulbs but if you want a color more like a filament bulb go with something closer to 4000K. These are very bright for 5W.

23-11-2024Great price for these decent quality LEDs, amazing how the price has gone down in the last four years since I outfitted most of my house with them. These replace my daughters bathroom lights and theyre just right in terms of lumens and color tint.

> 3 dayMy master bathroom is fairly large, and has two vanity mirrors with six bulbs each. I put all 12 of these new bulbs in at the same time. My wife really liked the warm white, but it was still a little dim for me. I switched to 4000K bulbs on my mirror and that did the trick. She has hers, I have mine, it works. I put the other six 3000K bulbs in the smaller, kids bathroom and they work great in there. I noticed these bulbs do have a slight humming noise for some reason though. I do not have a dimmer switch either, so its something in the bulb itself.

> 3 dayI considered going to a 60w equivalent because my wife would never let me hear the end of it if these werent bright enough. But Im glad I took a chance on these (40w equivalent, 3000K). The color temp is fantastic - right on the edge of an ideal incandescent appearance. Anything cooler would look zombie and anything warmer would look artificial. And did I mention that theyre BRIGHT? Youd never know these are drawing 6w each. Considerably (I mean its obviously apparent, no A/B test necessary) brighter than the 40w incandescents they replaced.
