totes Automatic Open Close Compact Foldable Travel Umbrella

Works quite well and the size is 7.5 when folded. This one has a push button feature for both opening and closing. That works very well too. The coverage is quite good for a very small umbrella, but a bit testy for two people. I havent tested it in windy conditions, only light winds, but the construction looks strong enough to hold up in at least moderate winds if not more. In case you are curious, Totes makes an even smaller one (only 5.8) that they call a purse umbrella that I reviewed earlier and it is excellent. Relax guys, the purse thing is just a name. Its a black umbrella that you put in your pocket. These mini umbrellas are great when you dont want to tote around a large umbrella all day.

Opens and closes with a button press! Just what I needed. The button is a little hard to press....so it will take some practice to figure out one-handed operation

I like the compact portable umbrella for trips because its easy carry your luggage and fits in a cargo pant pocket. It folds up pretty easy too. I did not like the way it was shipped in the box because the sides were not taped closed.

Very small, highly-packable umbrella I purchased for emergency use while traveling. Its tiny, but the canopy is bigger than expected. Plenty for one, a bit cozy for two. Seems well-made.

My wife loved the umbrella. She wanted small and compact and this unit satisfied her need. The umbrella is well made, good fabric, operates as described, and will be used later this year when we travel abroad. A quality product as I would expect from Totes.

Works great. Press a button, it opens. Press again and it closes. Small enough to pack easily and carry with you on your travels.

Received in great condition and when stated. I had one like it previously and was having trouble finding another that was the same small size so I can carry it in my purse. I wore the previous one out and expect to do the same with this one.

Brought this umbrella to Europe with me and I was glad I did because it kept me dry from the rain a few different times. It was small and light enough that I could keep in my bag while walking around and it wasnt in the way or too heavy. I liked the style, it wasnt too flashy our touristy looking. Not big enough for two people to comfortably walk under so make sure to buy another for your significant other. I love the ease of popping it open with one button. My only reason for not giving it a whole 5 is that you need to put some muscle in while closing it all the way. The button will collapse the umbrella but you will need both hands to get it to click in. Definitely recommend.

It is very compact and fits comfortably in your handbag. Once you use it, wait till it completely dries, then put it back in its pouch. With a little patience, it will fit back in nicely.

The umbrellas are the right size, and open and close as described. But I ordered three of them, and though two of them are the same item, the third is a different design, color handle, etc. I expected them all to match... Thats my only complaint. Not worth returning or exchanging. An unexpected surprise.
