> 3 dayThe children can see through the umbrella, so they are less likely to walk across the street when cars are coming. This umbrella was much appreciated by the 9 year old receiver.

> 3 dayI bought two of these, one in clear for my son and one with polka dots for my daughter. Hes 8 but 49 and I wouldnt buy this for a kid much bigger than him. I would guess he will get a year, maybe two out of this before it looks way out of proportion for him. Shes two and also large for her age at 38 tall but she had a little harder time holding it but she really wanted to hold it by the handle which complicated the issue and made it more unsteady for her. That being said, so far its been a good umbrella. We used them for some light rain, but little wind and the kids liked that they could see through them. Theyre very easy to open and close. They do come a little dusty looking but thats just the powder that keeps the plastic from sticking together while theyre in storage before sale. Not a big deal.

> 3 dayGreat little umbrella! Not sure how long it will last, but it seems to be better quality than the kid character ones and even the brand kid adorable ones that lasted us one season. Super cute polka a dot pattern too. Love the fact that its a bubble style so it keeps my daughters upper body dry. The best part about this umbrella though is the fact that its see through!! I cant tell you how incredibly handy this is for a child, and parent! My daughter, 4, would always have the worst time seeing anything and I would constantly have to hold the top part of her other umbrella and guide her so she wouldnt bump into anything. With this style though not only does it cover her body more since its a bubble but she can actually see where shes walking! Something that seems so simple, but truly does make a difference. Still going strong here in Oct. 2018! Hasnt ripped or anything. A little harder now to open, definitely difficult for my daughter who is 5 but I absolutely would buy this again if I needed too.

> 3 dayMy 3 1/2 year old son LOVES his rainbow umbrella. Unfortunately, he loves to perform singing in the rain spinning the umbrella more than he uses it properly. So thats why the 4 starts because when a pre-schoolers are rough with it, the frame does bend. I am afraid he can break it. But it does cover him completely and he CAN SEE while walking with his umbrella. Its adorable and he loves it. Just a little flimsy for the inevitable rough-housing.

> 3 dayThe pole is bent. It looks like the umbrella is angled, but I’m holding it perfectly straight. The pole is bent so badly it looks crooked.

15-04-2025The iridescent umbrella is just gorgeous! Not sure it will hold up forever to kids/wear and tear, but for now anyway it works beautifully and looks amazing! I especially appreciate the slide-down closure versus the pinchy kind I had as a kid

> 3 dayI was skeptical given the negative reviews but I went ahead and purchased an umbrella for my 7 years old. It fits her perfect and it has been sturdy thru a few strong wind/rain storms. I’ve been happy with this purchase so far.

> 3 dayWe used this at Halloween for my daughter when she wanted to be a jellyfish (see Pinterest!). She used battery powered mini LED lights and iridescent curling ribbon. Turned out super cute!
