Fair price, good quality. Worked perfectly for our Tab A 8.0. Came with tape and tools. Do yourself a favor and put a supershieldz on top of this to help prevent future broken screens. Exercise some time, patience and common sense. Be careful not to damage the home button ribbon cable. Most hair dryers should be plenty hot to help remove the old broken digitizer.

Finally! After several screen installs i finally found one that works! Im using the new screen right now. It works perfectly, no touch misfires at all what a relief. Having the adhesive on the new screen is a game changer, it is correctly, evenly, and thoroughly applied. If youve messed with the tape reels you know they are a sticky mess, hard to get even, bubble free, and starting over is a nightmare. The stuff is terrible to get off and has to go on evenly. And at $15 this is by far the cheapest digitizer out there! Congrats guys I dont write a ton of reviews but this was great, you took a disheartening problem and made it fixable. I can finally turn off Show Touches, its perfect. Some tips, make sure the frame is straight, get a good set of metal prybars to scrape of all the goop from before, and spend the time to get it all. Razor blades seem to spread the goop around and could slip and cut a cable. Ball the goop up, pull it off. Put a flashlight parallel to the work area as you scrape the frame to make gooballs more visible. I pre tested the screen connector before pulling off the new screens glue, the connector clicked well, everything checked out when booted. Shutdown, pull the film, place it gently then press and center it all around. Take the front film off and for $15 you are finally back in business with this wonderful little tab. Edit: two things to note, the slightly thicker tape can make the home button a little mor recessed, fine for me, i actually prefer it. Also, I purchased through vendor TheCoolCube. I cant speak to other vendors, experiences, etc. Ill put in a photo of the tools I used. The fork is merely for size reference. Get a *full* sized set of sturdy metal tools and you will be much happier --------------------------- UPDATE: Vendor does matter. I ordered a second screen,and it came without ANY applied adhesive, and these pain in the BUTT 3M cut strips. It took a real set of tools, tweezers, xacto knifle, all kinds of things and over an hour of time doing the tedious adhesive application. The second one was sold by SUNWAYS. Wish I had caught that or knew it made a difference!

After I install it I noticed the double side tape that comes pre-installed on the screen wasnt that strong. I thought maybe I need to let it dry but while my son was using the tablet, the screen came off and the connector broke. Other then they really need better tape the actual screen works pretty good. So if you are buying this then make sure to grab double side tape.

This worked ok. I watched several youtube how-tos and completed the screen replacement rather quickly, but now the touch is off. The tablet is essential trash, unless I have someone replace this screen.
