Most laptop stands you come across are good for getting your laptop screen at eye level on a regular height desk. This stand extends high enough that it works well for standing . As you can see in the photos, the base height of the laptop can go comfortably up to 12. Potentially you could go higher than this but be aware there is no safety net for how far back you can extend the main support. In other words, you could put it straight up making the platform even higher but then the weight of the laptop will topple the whole thing over. If your battery is near the back of the laptop, it will be even more of a problem. You would think theyd put some kind of stopper in to prevent extending it too far back. The round base does not weigh a whole lot so Im thinking of picking up some cornhole bean bags just in case. I do look forward to using this as a standing option though.

I love this product! It has helped me be more productive in my work day by providing me with the option to be active throughout the day. I am now able to stay on my feet and be creative throughout the day. I also love how its made from quality materials and its very comfortable to use. I never thought Id find a laptop stand that was both ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing, but this one is perfect! It is made of quality materials and is really easy to use. I love that it has a 360° swivel base and can be adjusted to 21 or up to 23. I also appreciate that it is compatible with most laptops and even has an iPad holder. I thought I might have to compromise with a different stand, but this one is perfect!

Youd think that a laptop stand wouldnt be a difficult thing to find. Theres plenty of them available but theres very few that are any good. Its surprising since a laptop stand has only one job to do--but thats the reality of it. Many are cheaply made and hardly something youd want to entrust with a device that youve made a substantial investment to purchase. Others are downright inscrutable, impossible to adjust or in some cases even assemble. Theres stands that try to do too much. For awhile I used a laptop stand that made its versatility a major selling proposition. The bad news--it had a downright bizarre interface and the only time I ever got it into a position where it would actually hold my laptop it was by accident. It came with a detailed instruction book that explained all of the positions that were possible. Unfortunately, none of their setup explanations made sense. It did help to have a picture of what you were trying to put together but otherwise it was useless. This might be the only laptop stand that Ive ever really liked. Ive been through plenty of them and this is the first one Ive encountered that just works. Its very solidly made, looks decent and is downright intuitive to operate. Adjusting the height and angle is easy and no instructions are necessary. It even folds up to be semi-portable which isnt the case with many laptop stands. Making a laptop stand that works well shouldnt be difficult, but few achieve it. This is one of them. Highly recommended!

I have tried so many stand up desks. I hate how much space they take up. When I saw they made laptop stands, I researched a ton until I decided on this one. It’s perfect! I can extend it up while standing at my desk comfortably. Also great for getting your best angle on zoom calls!

I purchased the laptop stand to provide a standing option at my desk in my home office. The stand is very sturdy. As others have reported, the mechanism takes a little muscle to pull into place, but the stand doesnt shift while typing. The swivel easily allows me to adjust throughout the workday. I easily found the right height and angle for my MacBook.
