It is a standard 20 travel bag - but on steroids. The zippers are large and well made, you can expand it to 22 or 24, it has more zippered compartments than others, and the one on the front is -big-. Really nice bag.

When I travel, I don’t see the need to take a lot of “stuff” with me. I have wanted a bag like this to handle just what I need without me needing to use a bulky suitcase. This bag is durable, just the right size, lightweight but strong. Just what I have been looking for.

This is a great little bag, I have used it and abused it for the past five years. I like the look, I like the pockets. It has not torn, the strap has held strong. Whether or not Im stuffing it to the brim, it always easily fits in the overhead bin.

**UPDATE** Similar to other reviewers, the shoulder strap broke after roughly 5 weeks of use. (see photo) I used the bag 4 days a week for the gym and travelled with it once for work. Unfortunately poor quality which is too bad. The bag was otherwise great. Minus 2 stars. I needed to upgrade my gym bag situation as my previous bag was just shrimpy and could not hold everything required for a gym-to-work morning. This bag is a massive upgrade at a very reasonable price. Pros: - A decent size that will fit into a gym locker - Plenty of additional exterior compartments - Shoe compartment is plenty big. - Brand new still, but construction seems sturdy and tough. - The look / color is A LOT nice in person than on the pictures. I wasnt too sure about the brown on black vibe. But the brown is a nice, rich dark coffee color, and the black is more of a worn black / gray black color, giving the bag a very masculine and handsome appearance. - Definitely bigger than it looks when you first open your package. I thought it was tiny when it arrived, but after I packed it, the bag expanded a good amount, allowing for an appropriate amount of room for gear. - No smell Cons: - Honestly, it could be a little bigger. You can see from my pictures, it is just big enough for home-gym-work day. Thats fine, just big enough is OK with me as long as it is not too small. - Once you fill in the shoe compartment, depending on the size of your shoes, they could occupy a quarter of the space on the inside of the bag. Overall, I think the bag is perfect as a gym bag and a weekender bag, especially considering the price, the look, and the construction. Ill modify this review if the bag begins to fail or if I find other issues. But for now, I think it deserves 5 stars.

Sturdy and washable

so far so good, i stuffed the crap out of it for a trip to Mexico, i knew the size but it was a 4 day trip so it took the load pretty good: - toiletry bag: my razor, shampoo, body wash, shaving soap, lotion, cologne - 4 pairs of socks - 4 sets of underwear - 4 t shirts - 3 shirts - 1 pant - 3 shorts - 1 flashligt - phone charger that pretty much stuffed the bag to the limit, which is good for its size, the quality of the materials and the build quality seems good, Id recommend it more for a weekend trip tho, meaning dont plan on stuffing more things than what you would use in 2 days, so is perfect for a weekend trip and such

Alright, Ive had this bag for just over 2 years now and I am not seeing any signs of wear and tear. It has been used many times for travel ranging from weekend trips to full week vacations - though full week is easiest in spring/summer/fall - I live in Wisconsin and Wisconsin winters require a bit more clothing for a week than this bad boy can handle (but this plus a backpack should be fine). I love how spacious the bag is - I tend to put all my chargers in one side pocket, toiletries and accessories in the other side pocket, medications in the front pocket, ID in the semi-hidden back pocket, and clothes and shoes in the main pocket. Works great and holds up well. Zipper isnt even sticky after 2 years of use. Would definitely recommend.

Prior to purchasing this item I read through numerous reviews, a majority of which had complaints about the size, smell, and inferior zippers. I decided to order it anyway as I needed a new carry-on size bag and I liked the look, color (Coffee), and material of this one. Upon arrival I had no issues with any smells. The color was a little misleading. It is more of a light tan instead of the darker brown material represented in the picture, but looks nice anyway. The overall size is exactly as stated in the description which is suitable for a carry-on bag and weekend trips. So far I have used it on two weekend trips. I drove both times so can’t speak to whether or not there are any hassles being used as a carry-on. Zippers and hooks are all made of metal and appeared fine; however, the first time I tried to use the shoulder strap it immediately broke. The hook pulled out of its metal fitting/enclosure as if it wasn’t crimped hard enough. I reached out to the seller to inquire about a warranty and replacement strap. After 2 weeks I had not heard back from them and called Amazon (who fulfilled the item) and was informed the only recourse was to return the item. There was no option for a replacement shoulder strap. I still like the bag and have tried to fix the shoulder strap myself. Haven’t used it again so not sure if it worked or not.

Used this for a few trips and it has been great holding everything I need and sturdy. Might look into getting a second one.for my daughter.

This is a nice bag....Was expecting larger though...the dimensions are prolly correct, but just seemed tiny compared to the pics. Another product photo showing scale would be helpful to the consumer! Remember to be extra careful when purchasing and look at the exact dimensions so that it is the right size for your needs! Onto the ACTUAL bag, I bought this because I liked the grey with brown accents. The canvas material i sOK quality and I love all the little zippers and compartments it has. Its a perfect light travel bag, like the description says (that I didnt read closely enough, haha). All in all, a solid 4 star purchase!
