> 24 hourThe metal is heavy enough gauge and well painted that it should last. The kids say the plastic is slick. The plastic steps are wide and thick plastic however the steps do not compress onto the metal bars so only thing holding them up are the two screws, one on each side of the step. Hopefully this does not turn out to be a weak point and break. I will not let my skepticism make this product lose any stars though. I weigh 210 lbs and easily got up and down the ladder. I see more jump time in my future now that its easier to get on and off.
