Transcend 4TB StoreJet 25H3 2.5-inch USB3.0 Portable Hard Drive

Ive been used to using 2 hard-drives per year for storing photographs, but this time I decided tom invest in a 4tb hard-drive. Took a bit of setting up as I had formatted it on my windows computer and had been using it for a short while, but then it wouldnt load up on my Mac book pro. Definitely a blonde moment for me, but I then read that I had tom format for both types of devices. Solution found and was up and running in no time and it has been brilliant to use ever since. I am known for letting things slip through my hands as I have fibromyalgia so it was better to have a more secure casing to eliminate serious damage. This item is definitely strong and sturdy and will definitely be buying it again when this one is nearly full up.

Ive own a number of Transcend 2TB USB drives and the 4TB is exactly what I expected and received. High performance and durable. Highly recommend.

THIS HAPPENED TWICE - ALSO WITH THE REPLACEMENT. The hard disk was woking fine until one day, for no apparent reason it stopped working. I contacted the warranty and they said that I could ask for a replacement, but for the data recovery Id have cover the costs on my own. Seems a bit stupid, as it was because of their faulty product.

The hard disk failed just in 3 weeks of use , after the return window is closed and No Warranty in INDIA . Nobody answered a phone . The service center do not accept courier , you have to walk there to get it repaired . I called bangalore service center , did not take phone . I broke it open and found the seagate baracuda 4tb disk has failed , but after some time an option to format appeared and it took ages to format , now it started working again the drive reconnects and connects and not stable . I use it just to take back up images , so did not lose anything important .I tried different cables also. This is my 5th transcend portable hdd , i have a disk which is more than 10 years old working perfect even now . Finally this particular disk is not reliable . THERE IS NO WARRANTY IN INDIA SO KEEP OFF . BUY SEAGATE INSTEAD . I Paid Rs 11500/- for Transcend 4TB drive on amazon

Good. Bit expensive. Though it is 4TB, u will get 3.6 TB storage space.

It was costlier than most HDDs in the same range, but worth every rupee, since it boasts of Military Grade Protection. Since I have lost a lot of data due to even minor shocks to some of my previous external HDDs. It connects easily to devices and works perfectly with my Transcend USB 3.0 POWERED USB HUB. Great Product!!

Great external back-up drive for the money. Runs a wee bit hot, depending on the length of the back-up, but overall Ive been very pleased with Transcend drives. This is my second one.

The product arrived as described and pictured. Shipping was super fast arriving a week before it was supposed to. Product arrived to my surprise even before tracking info was sent. I’ve been using this product to store media and it’s been working well so far. Happy customer!
