Overall a pretty nice product. I really wanted to try a hard sided luggage and knew of TravelPro’s reputation for durability and quality Takes getting used to as packing items is now split in half vs more traditional zipping a flap. Buyers beware that the zipper will skip teeth and become open while trying to close case . This happened to me several times from the first time using. Had to slowly try to reopen and then close suitcase to make sure that the zipper teeth stayed closed. Time will tell if this will be my go to piece as right know I’m not sure.

Carried one time to airport and they got dented. Very cheap.

Ive had expensive luggage and cheap luggage, and with frequent-flier abuse they almost all come to the bad end: zippers break, handles get stuck, wheels go wonky. Although my expectations are kind of low to begin with, I do think a set of just 2 bags going for nearly three hundred bucks should be more durable and long-lasting. Right out of the box I am disappointed with this brand. This luggage is extremely lightweight, good for and carrying but at the expense of durability. Calling these hard side bags is a real stretch; true, theyre not fabric, but theyre wafer thin and have almost no texture so every little bump and scratch shows. Ill likely be reserving these bags for road trips only, not as checked baggage for air travel. It has the usual layout inside: a strapped side (strap is not adjustable to tighten, weird) and a zippered side with some net compartments. Wheels roll smoothly in either direction. Integrated TSA lock is a nice feature. Color is a standout and the logo with the Eiffel Tower isnt offensive. Zippers were a hassle from right out of the box, its especially difficult to get them to slide around the corners without using both hands for alignment. Too bad, because one of the reasons I chose this set is because it has the expandable function when you open the second zipper. They all just feel so cheap and like any force will break them. I have another luggage set with 3 pieces thats similar to these in function, but they cot me a hundred dollars less! This brand---or maybe just these 2 bags---is not a good value at all for what youre getting.

Great quality luggage set. Nice that you can lock the zippers. The small one fits perfectly inside the big one which is great for storage purposes. Very sleek and sophisticated looking. Happy with the product.

This is a great two piece luggage set. Beautiful egg shell ivory color. The 8 spinner wheels works great for balance and maneuverability - glides easily and smoothly over both hard and carpeted flooring. Very lightweight. Solid shell is thin and supple, yet rugged. Using my body weight, purposefully added pressure to force the edges and sides to dip in, and the shell held up well and just bounced right back, good as new. The zipper is set in the middle so when opened is split in half. One side has a mesh panel with a pocket that zips up to hold your items in place. The other side is has your standard straps to hold your things in place. Zipped expansion panel is set in the middle as well. Tested the fabric of the zippered expansion section with some water. The water pooled right away and was super easy to wipe off. Allowed more of the water to just sit on the fabric for about 10 minutes. After a few minutes some of the water did start to seep in to the outer fabric, but it never made it through the 2nd inner lining - so the inside still stayed nice and dry. Probably with prolonged exposure to rain/moisture its possible it would seep through the inner layer, but for your normal, average experiences, Id feel very confident about the waterproofing even along the zippered section. Both the carry and the pull-out handles have a nice comfortable grip, and lays nice and flat. The larger bag also has a grab handle on the side as well. The features on this are really nice, great quality. Think these will hold up really well and looking forward to taking these on my future travels.

I like to travel and have a bit of an obsession with bags. I had never used a hard shell luggage before, and all my other luggage with wheels only had 2 wheels so was curious to try this out. It comes packed in a huge box, and the smaller carry-on bag is nested inside the larger bag. I got the white ones, which, in hindsight I am a little bit mixed on. More on that in a moment. So the bags arrived in perfect shape, and the biggest difference comparing to the other types of non-hard-shell luggage Ive used in the past, is that these have less organization built in. Fabric luggage has different pockets and things on the outside, but being hard, that obviously cant be the case with these. Inside there is also very little in the way of organization. Be prepared to pickup some packing cubes if you want to make the most of your experience with these. The spinner wheels work fine, but on thicker carpet flooring that I encountered in a hotel hallway, I needed to tip the bag and carry it on 2 wheels like traditional luggage because it got too difficult to move. So anyway back to the white luggage. I was thinking white would be good because its not as common as darker colors, which is true, but after using it, holy smokes, I took one of these on 1 flight, and you would not believe how dirty it got just going through the normal airport checked luggage process. Thats not a fault of the luggage, just pointing it out, its almost stunning how much the color of it changed after just 1 flight. Its like.. tan now. If you want your luggage to resemble something clean, dont pick white. But, it was sure easy to spot my bag at the airport because its not a popular color. 90% of the bags were black or navy blue. So at the end of it, the bags seem alright, good value, and the value is why Im giving a higher review. For my personal preference I think Ill be more likely to stick with bags in the future that have a bit more organization to them, but packing cubes and things work here too.

This set of luggage is so chic. My first impression is that it was white, but on closer inspection it appears to be a very lovely set of cream colored baggage with a smoky fog interior. Like most modern luggage it has the TSA approved locking system (please refer to website to reset from the factory standar 0-0-0) and it has a an extra long handle. I cant really say if the handle is that much longer than other luggage, but it seemed that way to me. The smaller matching carry on piece can actually fit inside of the bigger case. Also, ,y large floofy cat was able to fit into the luggage and the zipper was so strong and sturdy she needed help to escape. The inside of the luggage has straps and mesh to keep your carefully packed clothing from shifting around into a wrinkled ball and expandable nature means that extra large package of souvenirs ill now just barely fit instead of needing an extra bag to carry them.

Really great set of luggage. I like that I can nest the smaller piece of luggage in the larger one. The outside material is sturdy and flexible. It will take a beating and be fine. The wheels roll smoothly and the handle will lock in place requiring only the press of a button and pulling to extend it. This luggage rolls equally well pulling by the handle or rolling on all four wheels. Need more space? They also expand to give you more room for packing! The design is pretty simple and this luggage isnt fleshed out with tons of different compartments but I dont need all that. I like the simplicity and quality and recommend this luggage for those reasons.

I love how durable they are & how easy they are to maneuver. I definitely recommend these for your next trip.

This is a very attractive luggage set. I got the white color and it looks great and stands out as not much luggage is white. There is, of course, the drawback that it shows scuffs and dirt more easily but I was expecting that and it doesnt bother me too much. When I first opened them, I will be honest, I thought they were a little flimsy feeling. But after packing them full I dont notice that as much. They feel sturdy and like they will definitely survive being tossed around at the airport. The combination locks were easy to set and the zippers work fine. I like that they can be expanded if needed and while there is minimal organization on the inside, packing cubes can be used to easily organize your belongings.
