I bought the Triangle BR03s from another site which sell these at a big discount pretty regularly hoping to feed my newly found craze for budget audiophile gear. Prior to this, I had been largely content with my DefTech SM 450s and SM 55 in my home theater setup. Recently, I had starting upgrading my home theater system piecemeal with Polk LSiM 702 surrounds, Klipsch RP-280FA for Fronts, 450C for Center, R-41M for middle heights as they became available on sale and finally 2 x SVS PB-1000 Pros for subs. I then started looking for something hi-fi for my office den for listening to stereo music when I came across these as highly recommend and bought this. They definitely deserve the high praise in terms of fidelity, but I often found the sound too thin and fatiguing with different amps, the best of which I have is the 100w Class A/B Dayton Audio HTA100BT tube amp which already was toning the speaker down. I had originally been a bit disappointed with the Polk LSiM 702 as I barely had any juice on my Denon X3200W to drive them, but they started to shine really well as I got better external amps to drive them and they turned out to be just as high fidelity as the BR03 but without the fatigue and a punchier bass. I soon swapped my BR03 with the Polks with the former now relegated to surround duty. Given my experience above, I would say that if you are looking for non-fatiguing high fidelity speakers for smallish areas, I would definitely recommend going with the Polk Reserve series (R200 in particular as the successor to the LSiM series) and you should not be disappointed regardless of the room size. I say this as someone who absolutely loves the Klipshs brightness and clarity for movies, but not for music.

I did lots of reading on a variety of bookshelf speakers & even did some real world listening to the few I narrowed it down to. These are by far the best for my listening ear. The sound stage is detailed & when I listened to vocalists it came close with eyes closed to feel they were in my living room. Even only as a two way speaker the range from high to low is great. One example is that when I listened to the Blade Runner 2049 soundtrack all of a sudden when the Koto drums were playing it felt like a window was open with a breeze blowing on me. It was the two ports at the bottom of the speakers move lots of air on me from more than 10 ft. away. I was thinking of buying a subwoofer but these speakers have such a powerful bass I dont need one. I did get a good price on Amazon resell but after my experience I think they are worth the normal retail price. I cant recommend them enough!

I am running Tidal through a Topping DX7 Pro DAC through my 300B Tube Amp and into these. All I can say is, HOLY S***! I sold a pair of RP-600Ms last week and had my eye on these. Dont get me wrong. The 600Ms were nice. Just a little shy on the bass. A lot of online reviewers suggest a sub with these as well. Not needed. Not in the least. They are dual ported on the front and you can hear it. This amp is pushing maybe 5 clean watts per channel and sitting 6 feet away I dont need the volume past 9 oclock. The BR03s are 90 dB sensitive. Everything is crisp, clear, and probably as good as you can get for under $1k / pair. Maybe a bit more. Oh, and, they are gorgeous! At least the Light Oak model is.

They sound as good as the KEF LS50 metas that I have. Thats right. Get three pair of the BOREA. I own a lot of speakers. Klipsch Triangle Warfendale KEF and others. These sound as good as any. Well, maybe not as good as the Klipsch. Hard to beat the Klipsch for the money. Happy Listening.

I was worried when I first got these that I would need a subwoofer, but with proper placement you dont need a thing! Just hook these bad boys up to your amplifier, sit in the middle of them and enjoy! Incredible sound staging for these size speakers, great detail and not lacking anywhere that I can find! They also look fantastic without the grilles on! Well worth your money if you want something sleek looking and with a fantastic audio quality. Tested on multiple amps and all ranges of volumes, they have yet to fail me in any way. If youre unsure, try them out. Return them if you dont like them, but Im sure you wont! Whether or not you believe burn in ( I dont ) I found that with multiple listening sessions on these guys gave my ears plenty of time to adjust to the treble forward sound. These are extremely detailed and work well with all types of music, from classic to modern rap, these handle it all with ease all while looking great!

Great bookshelf speakers that sound amazing. I have these paired with an IOTAVX SA3 integrated amp. Room is about 12x12 and they have no issue filling the room with sound. They sound great, very well balanced, the trebles arent over accentuated and bright. Very well balanced. I wish they had a bit more staging, better imaging/detail, and transparency, but at this price point they are very fun to listen to and Ive spent more time just listening. I will be keeping these for some time, even if I do upgrade to a higher $$ loudspeaker. ***I did add a separate amped sub to fill out the lower bass frequencies, but that is somewhat to be expected with bookshelf speakers. That being said, I used them for a month without a sub and they were still very enjoyable. While these arent the speakers for everyone, Id gamble that the vast majority of folks will enjoy this speaker.

in short, these are truly wonderful speakers. I own speakers at twice the price, and these are just about on par with them. To me they excel across the normal listening spectrum. Separation of instruments and vocals are way above the norm. I found these to be the most holographic of all my speakers thus creating an excellent sound stage. For further info, there are many solid reviews for these speakers on YT.

I placed these downstairs in the basement for a second audio system. Right out of the box, they sound very good. While my system upstairs on the main level of my home would be considered audiophile grade, for what we use the basement for (exercise, hobbies, etc), the BRO-3s hold their own very well. You can spend a lot more on speakers, however you would need to spend about twice the price of the BRO-3s to really notice any improvements. I have paired these speakers with a subwoofer, but they dont really need it except for the very lowest frequencies. Overall I am pleased with these speakers and am glad I bought them.

A bookshelf design to be placed on a dedicated stand (S02 or S04), the Borea BR03 is equipped with a 25mm EFS silk dome tweeter and a 16cm midrange/bass driver. The untreated cellulose paper membrane, developed for the Esprit Ez series, confers a natural sound with no coloration. The vocal range keeps all its intensity and the low frequencies their usual dynamism without ever generating listening fatigue.

Powerful Performance

This size is especially recommended for dedicated listeners looking for the performance of a floorstander in a compact design. From the very first notes, the BR03 impresses with its energy, delivery of deep notes, and power handling. This speaker will fit perfectly in rooms ranging from 15 to 30m2.
