Greater than one weekI reviewed speakers for months before my purchase. Ive had these now for two months and couldnt be more satisfied. Even though they did not have enough base for the reviewer Joe and Tell, they have more than enough for my taste. So I would guess if you are a basehead, these are not for you. I love the clarity of these speakers. I also purchased the center speaker and together they have fantastic vocal output. For someone who wants more than boom, boom, boom, from their speakers, these cannot be beaten by anything below a $1000 bucks.

> 3 dayI was recently in the market for a speaker in the $500-700 range, and glad I finally settled on these after seeing some rave reviews for them. I auditioned the Klipsch RP600M, the KEF Q350, the ELAC Debut Reference DBR62, and these. My gear: U-turn Orbit with Nagaoka MP-110, run through a PS Audio Sprout100. I primarily listen to vinyl. Klipsch: I guess Im not a fan of the Klipsch horn sound, because despite all the fantastic reviews, I almost instantly decided these werent for me. Too much treble, bass, and not enough mids. KEF: These are amazing speakers, with some of the best separation, imaging clarity, and soundstage Ive heard. I mean I was blown away by the imaging. For some reason I didnt like the tone of them, though. Too dry sounding for me, if that makes sense. Elac: I really liked these as well, especially the mids. They just sounded beautiful, very warm sounding. But they were a little boring, and with the Nagaoka already being kind of warm, it was just a little too much. The Triangles, however, do a little bit of everything. They were a little bright out of the box, but after some good break in period (I lost track of how much - maybe 5-10 hours?) they just come to life. Imaging and soundstage is not quite as good as the KEF, but oh man, the tone. These things sound beautiful. Listening to some Grateful Dead shows, and I just cant stop grinning at how good the guitars sound. Very life-like. Theyve also made me realize how much better some of my records are than others, because I can now hear the difference! These speakers continue to impress me more every day. Be sure to give these plenty of room from back walls, because even though theyre front ported, they will sound stifled if you place them up against a wall. Also try and get at least six feet between the two speakers for the best effect. Lastly, although beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I think these are very attractive speakers (I got the oak finish with white face). The gray tweed grilles look very cool, so much so that I keep them on unless doing some critical listening. Enjoy!!

> 3 dayMy cat killed my MMG’s so I bought these as a replacement. I expected a step down. It wasn’t. More clarity, better imaging. Sometimes I hear what I think people mean when they say layered sound. I suspect at this price there are none substantial better.

> 3 dayThis is not an expert review, but these speaker are really good. I started with a little 10 watt tube amp and these speakers sound great. They have a nice sound stage with a little toe in. Real nice mid and treble without being harsh. Bass for me is a little light but that could be my listening environment and low power amp, rather than the speakers(and the are book shelves). Right now I am only able to stream the music, and am excited to get the chance to listen with a larger amp using CDs and vinyl

> 3 dayThese speakers sound quite good. Compared to my 50 year old Wharfdales, it takes quite a bit more oomph from the amplifier to drive them. Thats my only complaint, really. The bass is good (its a bookshelf, folks), maybe a little boomy in the low end. It depends on the material. I am happy with my purchase.

> 3 dayThese speakers really checked off a lot of boxes for me. Front port make them more forgiving in a less than optimal placement like what Im stuck with in my living room, and theyre easy to drive. They have great build quality and look quite nice too. I also like that theyre made in France. I compared them to KEF Q150 at the same $300 price point, and these were the clear winner. Crisp and clear highs, combined with a wonderful warm midrange. I have them paired with a sub and overall its fantastic

> 3 dayIm not an expert and bought these based on reviews by the audiophiles. However my brother is. He is a musician and owns the largest recording studio in Las Vegas (The Tone Factory). I have the hooked up top a vintage Pioneer SX980. I was extremely impressed, so time to get my brother over here. He, besides being a sound engineer only deals with High end equipment. He was as impressed as I was.......

> 3 dayReceived these yesterday... WOW !! these speakers sound great right out of the box. Much clearer with greater drive than the Elacs I purchased last year. Found these on sale for $ 350 during Christmas Holiday. Man Im so happy I did. Easily worth the full list price .
