This was my mistake but I was disappointed it did not come with level.

The concept is solid but theres a major design flaw with this tool which makes it almost useless. If the drywall is proud of the jambs you will not be able to guide this over the jambs flush and your lines will be wavy and/or a complete mess. And if youve hung very many doors or installed jambs and casings you know drywall is almost always proud on one side, somewhere along the opening. I wish I didnt spend the money on this. Waste. Stay away.

Make sure you get a genuine product from The Trim Buddy, made in USA. Amazon is selling Chinese knock-offs of this product. Products with the integrated level are knock-offs, and some are missing other features! Trim Buddy founder alerted consumers to this in a recent video. Check country of origin when purchasing!

I havent used it yet but the design is very smart and Im sure it will save me a lot of time doing our full house of door casings, trim and baseboards.

Works as advertised!! Makes the finish work of my remodel easier.
