Greater than one weekI havent used it yet but the design is very smart and Im sure it will save me a lot of time doing our full house of door casings, trim and baseboards.

Greater than one weekJust like the wooden ones that we have been making for decades.

Greater than one weekThe concept is solid but theres a major design flaw with this tool which makes it almost useless. If the drywall is proud of the jambs you will not be able to guide this over the jambs flush and your lines will be wavy and/or a complete mess. And if youve hung very many doors or installed jambs and casings you know drywall is almost always proud on one side, somewhere along the opening. I wish I didnt spend the money on this. Waste. Stay away.

> 3 day2 issues with this tool. First is how incredibly small it is. It wouldn’t take much at all to lose or misplace this item. Smallest reveal gauge I’ve seen in 20 years as a carpenter. Secondly is how micro the pencil holes are. Need to reshapen your No. 2 pencil over and over to consistently fit in the holes.

> 3 dayThe trim buddy has been a must have, it’s small and light weight making it easy to keep in your tool belt. It gives the perfect reveals for door and window trim.

> 3 dayThis jig has about a million versions on here that are made in China. The measurements are off, and sometimes its just missing features entirely. I got burnt my first one, wasnt careful enough, and ordered a fake. It didnt even have the reveal on it, which was a big part of the reason I bought it. I do trim work, and this is invaluable. Couldnt be happier with it, its made from that hard plastic that feels like it will last forever, but wont mark sensitive material like stick on tile and things like that. For fifteen bucks, you cant go wrong. Just dont try to save a few dollars and buy a fake.
