> 3 dayBest Looking and Quality Helmets for Toddlers out there. My boy/girl twins turn 2 next week and we wanted to buy them balance bikes for their birthday. The bikes were easy to find helmets not so easy. I looked in about every store that carried toddler helmets and all I could find were cartoon characters or big huge plastic fohawks. When I first started looking at these I was looking at an adult helmet. Somehow I came across the manufacturers number by looking at their website and spoke to someone who advised I look at the Triple Eight Lil 8 I am so glad he did. These helmets are great - easy to adjust. The first night trying them on my son wasnt really interested in wearing them but the next day when we took them and their bikes outside they played the entire time wearing their helmets. I am so glad that I found great looking quality helmets for toddlers.

> 3 dayMy one year old grandson wears this to ride a little battery powered “motorcycle”. It’s sturdy and light weight enough for him.

> 3 dayMy 7 year olds have small heads (19.5 circumference) and these could not be more perfect! Theres also an adjuster in the back which allows me to tighten a little bit more. Also love the protector on the neck clip so theres no fear of pinched skin.

> 3 dayA little smaller than I thought. Its a snug fit on my 5 year old on its largest setting.

> 3 dayI bought these expecting to have a thick sweatband like what my older boys have in their Triple 8 helmets. The fit is hard to get snug and I think the additional padding would help. I would have returned them but my kids already tore open boxes before we realized the padding was different.

> 3 dayWe got this for my 7 year old so he could ride the skateboard we gave him and its way too small for his head. We couldnt even get it to slide down on his head. And we measured his head with a fabric measuring tape but his head is apparently too wide. It does fit my 4 year olds head great though which is why we are keeping it or else wed be sending it back for refund.

> 3 dayThe only downside is that the helmet is too heavy and not suitable for younger babies

> 3 dayThese helmets are great- look great, seem sturdy, really like the soft chin strap for kids since often kids don’t like the harsh feeling against their necks… but dang my kids heads are too big Lol. Have to return. Will try larger size from this brand probably.

> 3 dayWe looked all around at the local stores (including Toys R Us) for helmets for our 2 year old. We had a hard time finding any in her size, and when we did find a couple, they were not very attractive. I am familiar with the Triple 8 brand from roller derby, so when I found this one online, I knew it would be quality. I love the color, which matches (almost) perfectly with her green Stryder bike. The colors are just a SMIDGE different, but its not noticeable. My daughter loves wearing her geen helmy.

> 3 dayMy son was 3.5 when we got this for him (we’ve had it 4 months now and love it). It’s very sturdy and we use it a the skate park and when he rides his bicycle multiple times a week. The vents help cycle air so it doesn’t get too sweaty in there. Color options were nice!
