> 3 dayWe looked all around at the local stores (including Toys R Us) for helmets for our 2 year old. We had a hard time finding any in her size, and when we did find a couple, they were not very attractive. I am familiar with the Triple 8 brand from roller derby, so when I found this one online, I knew it would be quality. I love the color, which matches (almost) perfectly with her green Stryder bike. The colors are just a SMIDGE different, but its not noticeable. My daughter loves wearing her geen helmy.

04-06-2025This helmet is very difficult to adjust while on the kid’s head. You have to reach under the helmet while it’s on, in order to tighten it. We could never get a good fit. I’m thankful my kid didn’t fall while using it, as I don’t think it could offer the right protection since it didn’t fit quite snug enough. It’s very expensive compared to the new one I bought, which has the sample be of adjusting knob, but it’s located in a spot that is very easy to reach.

> 3 dayWere a roller derby family, and wear Triple Eight helmets. I bought this for my 2 year old son to wear with his tricycle and new Fisher Price skates. He has a giant head (98th percentile!), and this fit him just right. Its nice to know I will not have to sacrifice quality or safety because of his age, nor have to spend a fortune!
