Purchased two of these. Nice addition to my rack system.

Surge protector saved expensive equipment from an over-voltage situation resulting from a failed neutral lug on the breaker panel feeding the equipment rack and many other loads. I have no doubt the equipment would have all failed catastrophically without this surge protector. They are great units, weve always had good luck with them.

Great product, I got this product for my Audio rack that i travel with. Fits perfect and starts up great but i did have to get this adapter along with it(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DVE8SCE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00) because the plug that goes in the wall is the same on the rack. But othere than that its a good rack outlet!!!

I purchased this product for a multi-room audio equipment rack. I mainly decided on this particular product because it was priced reasonably, It is rated for 20 amps which I wanted due to powering a couple of large amplifiers and having a dedicated 20 amp circuit already installed. And because of the Tripp-Lite name brand. I have an isolation transformer put out by the same company that I have used for years with no issues. Also I wanted something that would be a good quality surge protector without needless frills like many of the other products on the market.

I use this in my home server cabinet, and it is an excellent solution to keep my equipment protected and powered on. The value was great for this product.

Great for under conference room table.

Beware Couple Things: 1.) the manufacturer box is smashed to heck - one side of the box more than the other. There are some hollow cardboard spacers inside on the left side - it was smashed badly, and the bracket for rack mount was bent a little bit. BUT the unit was new, unused, and pristine otherwise. Amazon packages the manufacturer box inside of its own shipping container= A+ to amazon.

You need a number of electrical outlets for a rack. You want a big-assed UPS and the budget wont allow it. This is the compromise.
