I travel a lot and found the locks useful, but 1 was broken right out the box. I can’t return this item due to how much I need the other three on my travels. Next time please don’t let this happen.

This is my second order of the Forge locks. I was so pleased with mine that I ordered a set for my sister who is planning a trip to Ireland. I threw away the typical locks that I bought at Walmart. The quality of these are so much better you will be surprised. Also, the key is much more substantial and you can insert it either way. Im older and have bad eyesight and now I dont have to look carefully to be sure the key is inserted the right side up. (I struggle with those little numbers on the combination locks.) Dont hesitate. You will be happy, guaranteed!

Very conveniently keyed alike. Simple, effective, colorful by my choice (also available in single color) so I can definitely tell by the color pattern of where I put the locks that a particular bag is MINE, even from a distance.

After the first trip that I got it checked, it broke. Wish it didn’t break so easily.

I like the size, design and appearance of these locks. I do not like the locks with a combination dial and these dont have any. The TSA code for their key to unlock these is clearly and conspicuously engraved on the bottom of each lock so this SHOULD avoid any issues of the locks having to be cut off if any search is undertaken. Each of the four keys that came with this four lock set fit all four locks without any struggle. They will be used on a trip to Europe this May so perhaps I will update this review upon my return. I should note that Amazon announced the delivery of this item next to back door or on the porch. There is no back door to the residence and their own photo shows the item thrown on the ground next to the garage door where it sat in inclement weather a considerable distance from my residence. Shame on whoever delivered that package.... Update: I just returned from 2 weeks in Europe and I know that TSA, or other regional authorities, were able to open and close the locks several times without difficulty. I would highly recommend this lock set.

Unreliable -- 1 of 4 locks failed to unlock reliably on out first trip. After wiggling, reinserting the key, using an alternate key, etc., I was about to panic because I needed clean clothes. My wife finally unlocked it. Seems to have loose parts or sloppy tolerances.
