Greater than one weekThis bulb is big and bright. It also feels well made (not light with thin plastic like some LEDs). Well see how long it lasts, but first impressions are that it is great quality. Now to the confusing part. It says you have to bypass the ballast. Except there is no ballast in a standard light socket- that is for fluorescent tube lights. So it has a large sheet that comes with it about how to bypass the ballast and it does not even apply to this product. That part is why I am docking a star. You shouldnt be telling people to go up into their wiring to bypass something that isnt there. So, to anyone buying this- it can just be screwed into a standard lightbulb socket. Please dont play with wires unless youre trained in that. Other than that, I do like this light and recommend it.

> 3 dayThese E26 lights, meaning theyll go in your normal fixtures that arent candelabra base. They are quite bright. They are a decent amount brighter than your typical 100w equivalent LED light. They arent overwhelming death beams like an actual 175w corn light would be (I have up to 250w corn lights) but they are plenty bright for how small they are for a corn light. I have one issue with them. They get hot instantly and I dont see any passive or active cooling on them. Larger corn lights either go with massive heatsinks or fans. This doesnt seem to have a fan and Im not seeing much heatsinking either. After a few minutes, they are quite blazing hot. They are bright, but certainly not bright enough to use as a street light. You can use a corn light for that, but more like a 200w+ corn light. These are better used as porch lights. I dont mean 200w equivalent, I mean 200w. They are MUCH larger than these and considerably brighter. Its currently 4/4/23. Well see how these hold up.

> 3 dayDecent, but not the brightest. The material doesn’t feel solid. Our original bulb as you can see in the photos the table is more lit than with the other. You do get two of these for the price of one of our original brand, which is still going strong after 2 years. I’ll skip these next time.

> 3 dayWow, what a difference these bulbs make. They totally brighten up the area. These are now my favorite bulbs. They are larger and heavier than standard light bulbs but to me, the light they give is so much better.

Greater than one weekI like to do reviews a few years later because you get to see if they really work. The product did install well and looks great at night. Now time will tell.

> 3 dayso glad I found an LED replacement outdoor security light. It outshines its previous light. It installs as easy as screwing a light bulb in. Its projected last longer, shines twice as bright and uses less electricity. Its a win, win, win lighting up a dark area.
