This was super bright as advertised. I installed this in my basement last night as a single light source and it lit up most all of the nooks and crannies. Probably raised my light level 20% above what I was working with on 2 bulbs. A note that took me a couple of installs to figure it out. - This bulb takes about 1-2 seconds to kick in after the power is turned on. I thought my socket was messed up, but its a feature, not a bug, These dont provide direct upward lighting, but you get good splash lighting from the bulb as a whole.

This is my first experience with corn light bulbs. I had never heard of them. I liked this style of light because its omnidirectional, versus a flood light or the screw-in light fixtures with the 3 adjustable panels. A regular light bulb is also omnidirectional but they arent bright enough for certain areas. This is great because its plenty bright and just needs a socket to screw into. It brightens up the dark corners of my basement. But the brightness comes with a cost as it can be overwhelming to look at. I put it at the bottom of my basement stairs so when Im walking down the stairs all I can see is this blinding light. I moved it to another part of the basement so unless i look up at it, it doesnt bother my eyes. In other words, its best to not have this bulb at eye level. These are kind of expensive, so hopefully they last a while. So far its worth the price.

These bulbs are very bright. Theyre not a great value unless you can consider the energy savings amount.

This is a set of two E26 medium-base LED bulbs. The base is of the regular screw type. E26 or medium-base bulbs are the most common bulbs used in homes. These would suit most of the domestic bulb holders. Along with these bulbs, one instruction booklet was given with the title INSTALLATION-Ballast Removal & Wiring of LED Retrofit Kit. But to place these bulbs in the existing LED bulb holders, these instructions can be ignored; just replace the bulbs. These bulbs are somewhat large in size: the length is 7 inches with a diameter of 3.64 inches. Also, their weight is much higher compared to regular LED bulbs, each weighing more than a pound. When we tried to fix them in the kitchen area to the roof bulb holders, we could not, as the size of these bulbs is larger. We fixed them outside at the entrance of the house. The light from these bulbs is very bright, and it is daylight. They added beauty and elevation to our entrance and home.

Weve been swapping over to corn lights in everything and really like them. These lights are no exception. One recommendation is dont use these in a fixture which youll be staring directly at for long. The individual LEDs are very bright and arent pleasant to be looking directly at. But if this is in a ceiling light, or a light with a diffuser over it, then these lights are great.

I originally order the bulbs to provide extra light around the front door. What I didnt realize is that the fixture has an extended hood so, these bulbs wont fit. They are large when compared to a conventional light bulb so, I transferred the bulb to the shed. Simply said, I was impressed to the point that I decided to put two more sockets in the long shed and put the bulbs there. The design of the bulb ensures light is distributed in all directions so unlike this leaf bulbs, you dont have shadows. I havent had them long enough to determine longevity so I cant honestly rate them. But, I will be keeping a supply on hand.

at age 76 I have discovered these wonderful bright bulbs and the clarity they bring to my garage, front porch, etc. I am going to give them as gifts. I dont care how long they last--- they are worth the money to me.

These bulbs are bright and big. I wanted something that would not use a lot of electricity but I still needed something bright enough to light up a shop. These bulbs look good and provided a lot of light. The only down side to this bulb is the glare. Because this bulb down not have a translucent cover you get the full brightness of the LEDs. I can’t confirm the exact lumens or the exact wattage draw but I can attest to brightness. I think the pictures show how bright these are. I think these bulbs would be much better screwed into a base with a reflector. That way you would not be looking directly into the light. Prices for these bulbs are all over the place. I think these are about in the middle.
