> 3 dayBought this as a replacement for the host the A/C unit came with. The length of the hose is definitely much better, but the hose itself is noticeably thiner than the hose the unit came with. It probably makes it harder for the A/C unit to cool the room, so now I need to find some way of insulating the hose.

> 3 dayThe description claims that it is 5 inches diameter, outer edge to outer edge but is actually 5 3/16 which is too big. I spent about 15 minutes with each fitting and actually fits crooked but is on very tightly and works as it should. Not worth sending back as only one I could find and not available at Lowe’s our Home Depot.

> 3 dayPerfect replacement for a 5 hose. I was skeptical at first as this hose is not as thick as the original, however its holding up well so far. I do like the additional length..

> 3 dayWe bought this hose to replace our worn out one we had for our Portable Air Conditioner Unit. It fit wonderfully and is quite strong to bend even. No leaks of air and the unit runs like new.

> 3 dayI was looking for a clockwise thread 5 inch vent hose for my portable AC. This one fits very well. The quality feels pretty good. The only thing is its color is slightly whiter than my original one. But this is not an issue for me.

> 3 daymuch lower cost than OEM. will have to see how it holds up over time, but appears to be comparable to OEM in construction
