As many folks have noted, this does change settings with each power on. It wouldnt be a problem but it resets to the strobe light setting, and so you get high powered light output followed by cut-off and it is a very sickening affect - like having a visual version of your fire alarm going off at 2 a.m. Mine keep reverting to that and I have to run to shut it down. The other settings are softer affects and I dont mind the changes. Regretful purchase but I wish the manufacturer would just delete the strobe setting and they would have been perfect.

Loved these little star lights. The different settings to adjust the speed are a plus, and the slow dimming creates a warm and peaceful effect. Reasonably priced, compared to other string lights, and the stars around the tiny bulbs are a lovely touch.

I bought this set and I’m not disappointed. There are a few modes you can set the stars to, I would say 6/8 modes are impractical but you still have the option so I guess it’s cool. I turned this product on for a while to see if the stars got hot and if that would be a problem, but it’s not!

Because they are shaped as stars they tend to catch on themselves which can cause a few of the plastic stars to come off. Simetimes they click right back on but some are loose. I really enjoyed having them and I love the thin profile of the cord and it had a nice long leader before the lights start. I would probably buy again. Just thought I’d note you need to be a little careful when working with them.

Brightens up a young girls room nicely

so easy to use, to add on to and enjoy :) I decided to leave them up as they bring much cheer to me!

They’re a little brighter than I had expected, however very pleased.

They give off a very whimsical and magical feeling and last forever! I’ve had my first ones for probably three years and all are still working. Just ordered some more recently for a different area. They are terrific!

I liked these lights, one strand didn’t work and was replaced quickly. Great product!!!

Love these e lights, but the little stars falls off so easily. Can be reattached but kind of a hassle.
