Inportabt to note. Bags say 8.5 x 12. That’s the outside measurement. Regular letter size, or document size, is 8.5 x 11. If you want to mail something flat, it’s hard to get it into the mailer. I sell books and need an envelope who is waterproof and will protect books from the rumness of mailing them out. These envelopes are light and study and waterproof. And the size is just perfect so the books do not float in the envelope.

These are perfect for my needs. I sell a lot of miniature items which I pack in very small boxes (4 X 4 X 2). Because the boxes are so little, I like to slip them into one of these as further protection and to increase their visibility in amongst all the Big Boy boxes at the P.O. Being light, they add very little weight to my packages. These have a good 8 X 11 of space inside, so theyre great for small clothing items, linens, books, etc. I mean, I wouldnt choose to pack a Tiffany vase in one, but then I dont need to. Oh, and they came at a good price, too. Very pleased.
