Works well with 3/4 pipe or tubing and up too 1/2 inch (Im guessing) flat surface. I attached it to the support for my car headrest and had to wrap gaffing tape around them - they were too thin for the clamp.

Works great on my motorcycle and I also use it in my vehicle clamped to rear view mirror recommend this to anyone

Havent used it yet but it feels sturdy. Arrived with mount broken and waiting for sellers response.

Ive tried in many place in my motorcycle and it grips everywhere sturdily and have full confidence that it would let my Insta 360 fall by any means. This is all metal and my worry about the high cost is now not there. This is my initial impression and Ill update if my mind say otherwise after extensive usage.

used it at a night shoot. Had my dslr for stills on my tripod and used this just below to mount my second dslr to shoot video and it worked perfectly no issues and was very easy to set up
