> 3 dayVery sturdy when it comes to jackets and light items but can doesn’t hold up well to heavy items. For example I tried to use it to hold my laptop bag and it slid down the side of my dryer.

Greater than one weekI needed some hooks to attach to our garage fridge, and I sure didnt want to drill holes through the side, so I decided to try these magnets. I didnt expect too much weight holding ability since I had seen other magnetic items just slide down the face of some steel doors. So I assembled the hooks to their bases, and, when I approached the fridge with each of them, they were almost pulled from my hand. Bam! They stuck like crazy. I hung a 17-lb bag of cat food on one, and it didnt budge. I dont theyll be called on to carry that much, but its good to know theyre capable. I think the slightly tacky rubberized coating on the very powerful magnetic bases plays a role by adding friction while preventing scratches.

> 3 dayThis is exactly what it looks like....a magnetic coat hook. It is strong and holds multiple coats, etc. Easy to move.

> 3 dayThese hooks are incredible! I cannot believe how sturdy they are and how well they hold. I have one on the inside of the back (metal) door, to act as quickie coat rack to hook my coat when Im in & out. The other is on the side of the dryer (we have a stacked washer/dryer unit) and works great to hold a few items or hangers while doing laundry. These hold tight and DO NOT BUDGE. Last week when we experienced record low temps of -26 degrees I had the idea to hang a thick wool blanket over exterior door in the kitchen. It leaks air as the door seal is old; also it is french door style so it has 15 window panes and you can just feel the cold coming through. One magnet in each corner of the top of the door held up a heavy blanket for the entire weekend, and did wonders to keep that cold air from blowing into the kitchen. SO many ways to use these hooks - I will have to buy more.

> 3 dayI was a little bummed these hooks came and needed some assembly prior to use. Basically you need to screw in the screws so the hook will be put together. There is a circle base that needs to have the hook hooked on to this. These hooks are super handy in bathroom to hold things. Very strong and versatile.

> 3 dayThey simply work, and work well. The base magnets are quite strong with a rubberized texture. The two-pronged hooks are smooth and polished - no edges to damage material. The set arrives in a small box with all pieces individually wrapped. Need a Phillips head screwdriver to use the provided screws to attach the hooks to the magnetic bases. The magnets are strong enough that sliding them on metal is difficult, but with the hooks attached, they provide leverage that make them easy to remove. We placed one on the back of the main door for jackets, and was pleased to find the hook is shallow enough that when the door is fully opened and hits the std-sized spring doorstop, the hook does not hit the wall. Only concern is the price - $25 seems a little high, but it is a good quality product that works.

> 3 dayThese are good looking hooks, they have a nice, smooth finish and the magnet/base is coated in rubber to protect your surface. Installation doesnt get any easier than a magnet, but you do have to assemble/screw the hooks to the magnet base. They are plenty strong to hold your coat or other article(s) of clothing.

> 3 dayThese are good magnetic hooks! They arrive unassembled, with the magnets stuck together, but a small screwdriver, used as a wedge between the magnets, works well to separate them. After that, install a couple of screws and theyre ready to use. Yes, they hold my winter coat (with stuff in the pockets) very well. I could make it slide, but it took a pretty good tug. The finish is smooth and seems durable and I like the color. Good magnets! Hope this helps!

> 3 dayBig fan of these hooks. They’re a good size to hold things and easy to put together. The magnet is STRONG. Like I said, I stuck one to my fridge to test it, and now I’ve just accepted that that’s where it lives. I tested it on the walls to see if it was strong enough to sense the metal within the wall (?), and it was not. So make sure the place you want to put it has enough metal for a magnet.
