Greater than one weekThese hooks have nice thick magnets on them, letting them hold more than expected. There is a rubberized coating on them, making them look nice. You do need to put the hooks together when they arrive. It took a minute to get the screws in properly. I use them to hold heavy coats, and they do with no problem. I havent had any trouble with them falling.

09-06-2025These are good strong coat hooks. They look just like the picture. They have a brushed nickel finish. The edges of the metal are all finished well, and smooth. The magnet is coated with rubber to prevent damage to the surface you stick it on. You need to screw the hooks to the magnets when they arrive. It is a little difficult. You have to push hard to screw them together because the screws are a little short. I had to have my husband do it. Once assembled though, they are nice and strong. I definitely recommend them. They hold quite a bit of weight.

> 3 dayThese are finally the magnetic hook you need. Will hold a lot. I have 3 heavy jackets on it and does not slide. Bought a second set for my mother in law.

> 3 dayThe quality of these hooks is excellent. You need a Phillips screwdriver to assemble, but everything aligned perfectly and it took about a minute. The magnets are extremely strong and these will hold even a heavy coat. They are perfect for my application using them in our metal barn. I am very pleased with this product.

> 3 dayThis is definitely one of the strongest magnets I’ve ever encountered! Currently one is holding about 30 lbs and is not going anywhere. I’m buying more!!

> 3 dayThey simply work, and work well. The base magnets are quite strong with a rubberized texture. The two-pronged hooks are smooth and polished - no edges to damage material. The set arrives in a small box with all pieces individually wrapped. Need a Phillips head screwdriver to use the provided screws to attach the hooks to the magnetic bases. The magnets are strong enough that sliding them on metal is difficult, but with the hooks attached, they provide leverage that make them easy to remove. We placed one on the back of the main door for jackets, and was pleased to find the hook is shallow enough that when the door is fully opened and hits the std-sized spring doorstop, the hook does not hit the wall. Only concern is the price - $25 seems a little high, but it is a good quality product that works.

> 3 dayVery strong magnets, seems to hold coats fine, I have these stuck to the back of my front door in my small apartment, great for hanging guest coats, don’t need a coat tree that takes up space.

Greater than one weekI needed some hooks to attach to our garage fridge, and I sure didnt want to drill holes through the side, so I decided to try these magnets. I didnt expect too much weight holding ability since I had seen other magnetic items just slide down the face of some steel doors. So I assembled the hooks to their bases, and, when I approached the fridge with each of them, they were almost pulled from my hand. Bam! They stuck like crazy. I hung a 17-lb bag of cat food on one, and it didnt budge. I dont theyll be called on to carry that much, but its good to know theyre capable. I think the slightly tacky rubberized coating on the very powerful magnetic bases plays a role by adding friction while preventing scratches.

> 3 dayThese hooks are STRONG! And the discs are coated in “rubber/silicone” They won’t scratch the surface you put them on. And they won’t slide down. My only complaint is…. The 2 “base” discs are stuck/magnetized together. They need to be separated so you can bolt the hooks to the base. WELL!!! They stick together STRONG too! I wish they were in separate bags. If you have arthritis in your hands…. You might need help sliding the discs apart. I pushed on the two for a few minutes to get them to slide enough so i could twist them apart. It’s not something too difficult but just a warning if you have fingers that tire easy.

> 3 dayI got these to install in one of our bathrooms that has a stackable washer/dryer, so theres not a lot of available wall space. Ive tried using the sticky hooks, but they always end up falling off after a few weeks because the dryer gets so warm. The magnetic robe hooks were the perfect solution for our need. They come in a fairly small box, because you have to assemble each one with two screws. Assembly was pretty easy, and once complete I placed both on the dryer. Wow these things are strong! I tried to move one and really had to work to get it off. Both magnets were shipped in the box together, facing each other but they were smart and placed a round plastic washer between the two so they could be easily separated. Try to put them in the right spot so you dont have to move them. I was able to slide them around to get them just right, but they are super strong! We are very happy to have robe/towel hooks in an area that just didnt work well for the sticky ones. Nice product!
