I attached it to a keyring and lanyard and keep it hanging in the car

This thing works! I keep my nails a little longer than over my finger tip, but pushing our car seat button was next to impossible still. This gadget saves the day and makes me confident I can get my son out of his car seat quick and with ease.

When you have a child with fine motor skill delays every little bit of independence is a win. My daughter has absolutely loved being able to do it herself and it’s nice to have when you have long nails. I haven’t been able to test it’s true durability but so far it’s holding up.

This gives a great sense of independence to my 5YO to be able to unbuckle herself from her harness without me having to dislocate my shoulder while reaching back or walk around to her side to do it in inclement weather. We love this device!

The product works great! We bought one previously for Grandma to use because her hands were not strong enough to unbuckle the car seats. Now, with baby #3 on the way, we have 3 car seats across in two cars. We purchased a 2nd so that our 4 yo can unbuckle herself from the middle seat. It took a bit of practice, but she has the hang of it and it saves us from having to crawl in to unfasten her.

2 years ago, my son spilled syrup in his car seat on a family road trip. I’ve cleaned it and for the life of me i can not fix the buckle.
