> 24 hourThis was well worth buying. I used it to find multiple breaks in my invisible dog fence. It doesn’t point you to the exact spot of the break, but the noise gets very weak and dies a couple of yards before the break. Good enough to help you find the line and then carefully dig along it until you find where it broke. I have 15 acres, and the signal got very weak the further along I went, but it almost made it half of the perimeter. Very pleased. I also liked that this model didn’t have the rechargeable battery. I hope I won’t need it again for a while, and a rechargeable battery could be useless after a couple of years with no charging.

> 24 hourOur Invisible Fence stopped working, and after testing the loop circuitry on the transmitter, it did seem to be the wire. We went around the property (over an acre and a half) over lawn, through trees and brush (yuck) a couple times. We did find the trouble spot, and why it took a couple times was because the wire wasnt completely broken, just damaged and frayed (someone had done a really lousy patch job at one point) so there was still a weak signal going through but not enough to make the transmitter/collar work. The locater didnt go silent, but did dip way down in volume over that spot - noticable if you go very slowly. I would think if there was a clean break it would be way easier to find the spot. This did the trick though - worked as it should and saved us a fortune having the professionals come to find the problem.

> 24 hourInstructions were great and easy to follow. We purchased to trace irrigation control valve wires that are 18-24” below grade. The sensor was not able to find 80% of our wiring.

> 24 hourWe had a break in the invisible fence for our dogs and would have cost about $150.00 to have repaired. I went on line and purchased the wire locator and was able to find and repair the broken line. Saved us nearly $100.00.

> 24 hourEasy to set up and use. Easily found the breaks in our underground wire for an easy fix. 100x better than the useless cheap one I bought last year. Sounds make it clear when you are over the wire. Just go slow.

> 24 hourIt works as it should. Re time saver if you have 1 mile of wire to find a break

> 24 hourI tried following the cable from where it starts but signal was not distinct so I went to where I know the cable goes and dug it up. It is about 10” deep. Once uncovered it sensed the signal but would not sense it where the cable is buried. A waste of time.

> 24 hourLocating under ground dog fence. Cheap design with transmitter, wire and sensor that pendulums across ground breaks. Solder eventually separates. Wand style would be more durable.
