Works well..there was some feedback since my dog fence wire was twisted in one area. But I found where the signal was weak and that was the break.

After 24 years of service our underground dog wire for electronic fence had to be replaced. There was one section underneath the driveway that had to be spliced, as it was blacktopped after the fence was put in. Initially we could not find it but with the help of this product we did. My husband said it was worth purchasing it for this alone. Im sure there are many other applications also.

It works as it should. Re time saver if you have 1 mile of wire to find a break

Easy to set up and use. Easily found the breaks in our underground wire for an easy fix. 100x better than the useless cheap one I bought last year. Sounds make it clear when you are over the wire. Just go slow.

I tried following the cable from where it starts but signal was not distinct so I went to where I know the cable goes and dug it up. It is about 10” deep. Once uncovered it sensed the signal but would not sense it where the cable is buried. A waste of time.

We had a break in the invisible fence for our dogs and would have cost about $150.00 to have repaired. I went on line and purchased the wire locator and was able to find and repair the broken line. Saved us nearly $100.00.

I bought this to find the breaks in my wire pet fence. While it did accurately find the wire which was buried up to 5 inches deep it did not find the break. It kept reading a strong signal after the break. This may have been something I was doing incorrectly but I followed the instructions carefully. I was able to fix the wire but only by digging 5 holes and measuring continuity test between different points of the wire and then running a new wire between the points I found a break.

Cant even accurately locate a wire above ground consistently. Absolute junk. Not even worth 1-star. Retiring asap.

This worked great for finding our dog fence. Im old but it could be a little louder.

The unit worked perfect . My only issue was trying to get the transmitter battery cover on.
