Unfreedom of the Press

> 24 hourI pre-ordered the book, took my time and read something that to me was very educational. I really appreciated the author going back to the founding of this country, explaining how the press was back then, and throughout our history. Its very interesting to when our press took on a so called objective view of the news, and how thats changed the very nature of the reporting of the news. However, today its taken on even a new level of what I would describe as deceit, with a clear bias, and is threatening what the founding fathers considered a free press. Whats very disturbing to me is how many who previously were in certain politicians campaigns and administrations, are now so called reporters claiming they have no bias. Unfreedom of the press is probably the most important book you can read in our current political climate.

> 24 hourMark nails it in this book, and its a great read. Really explains how the media is full of partisan hacks and the free press is only free if you think like they do. Thanks, Mark!

> 24 hourI have to admit, I thought it had a slow start, but then I got more into it and finished it in no time. I had just recently read Red Famine about the purposeful starvation of Ukrainians by Stalin and the Russians and in that book it talked about The New York Times failure to report on it. I was happy to see that referenced in this book as well. I didnt know The Times also neglected to report on the Holocaust, which I think is so odd because in school now its overly emphasized. I liked how this book took all the stuff people say about Trump and then showed presidents in history (democrats) doing far worse. It clearly shows the double standard. Overall, I enjoyed the book. Thinking about giving it to my democrat mom (my parents still believe in the media for some reason).

> 24 hourHalf way into the book and I love it. Every American need to read this. Mark lays out the facts and clearly the media is biased.

> 24 hourSuperbly researched and referenced, UNFREEDOM OF THE PRESS supplies the reader with a short but comprehensive history of journalism in America, and then follows with a detailed description of the decay of objective journalism into social activism and outright propaganda.
