> 3 dayNot a fan of wires. Unfortunately, this has plenty. Had to hard wire to get rid of 2 wires. There is no option but to cut the cig lighter power supply or get a bit creative as I did. Ultimately, I hid all the wires. The kit seems to be outdated and could be consolidated. Still, works well. Also, not much literature with it. Have to Google or YouTube for more info.

> 3 daythis gps system does work. Only thing I dont like is the multitude of cables that need to be used to get the gps to work.

> 3 dayI purchased this from Police Scanner Outlet. The gps cable will not stay connected and falls out of the Home Patrol 2 gps jack. I have emailed them twice and have been ignored by the company. I would think twice about dealing with this company.

> 3 daytoo many wires ideally would have both power for radio and GPS puck sensitivity a little low compared with similar pucks as there are little plug and play alternatives it will do job but approach is clumsy

> 3 dayI bought the GPS right after the SDS-100. A month later, I went on a 3,000-mile road trip and found it was great for updating all the agencies along the way. If you travel, its worth the investment.

> 3 dayIt’s ok, I am glad apparently according to what I could find that this unit is compatible with many devices. Price range has gotten way better than the puck. Awkward amount of cables for a simple gps though. But it does work well. Just figure out a way to deal with extra cables if your using this in a mobile setup.
