22-04-2025Needed to put a board on power pole to mount to as the plastic is rigid a wouldnt bend to attach. No problem. Also shields camera from security light for better image.

> 3 dayBuilt tough! These are really big (coffee mug fits inside it) to fit the biggest cameras. The inside is black which is great for picture quality. I wish the outside was white not an cream color to try to match the exterior. Easy to install however if you have standard siding as pictured you will only be able to use the top screws. Not a problem as it seems to be fine up there with the two. I do not like the lip. I feel it will collect sludge but since we are only using the two top it might be tilted enough to let the water and such drains out the back. All in all i am glad I got this to keep the snow, ice, rain and even the sun glare from hitting or sitting on the camera. I would say it is kind of pricy but it does come with 4 covers to protect all of your cameras around your property.

> 3 dayUniversal Sun Rain Shade Camera Cover Shield for Nest/Dome/Arlo/Ring/Bullet Outdoor Camera (4 Pack, White), Protective Roof for Outdoor Security Cameras This shade and rain cover is perfect to protect my security cameras. Properly mounted, it does not interfere with any of the camera optics but prevents the sun from overpowering the camera views, while simultaneously adding additional protection from rain, snow and ice. These camera shades are the perfect added weather protection to my security cameras. They are a cost-effective investment for my hardware. I am very satisfied with how this item performs.

> 3 dayI was having issues with water on the lens of my cameras. Once I installed these I have no more problems when it rains or there is dew/fog out. The mounting surface needs to be large enough to mount it or plan on adding a board if putting on a trail camera. Very happy with this product.

> 3 dayThese are much bigger in person than what the site showed. I have multiple cameras that i want to shade and protect from the elements and this is so perfect. The back part that gets attached to wall has a built in soft gasket to seal the shade on the wall. The outside is white and the inside is black so light does not bounce around and make “noise” for your camera. It is thick quality plastic, not a thin brittle hood.

> 3 dayFrom what I can tell so far, the higher your camera, the more this could offer in protection. The mounting surface has a foam seal going all the way around but it doesnt protrude that much to be compressed much. In my situation, stucco, I may want to add sealant around. Not that its necessary really but why allow water to go behind and possibly enter the wall where screws are. The inside of these covers are matte black. All hardware is included. Individually wrapped in bubble wrap bags and received well protected. Looking forward to installing these.

> 3 dayOur outdoor cameras are promised to weather the elements. They do but suffer for it. Performance is compromised and life-span is shortened. Its harsh conditions outside in the best of weather! A camera shield is an absolute necessity. These are generously sized, solid, very durable, and will weather the storms unphased in that there is nothing to damage or break. These indestructible shields take the beating that is now spared your cameras. Be sure that you dont block the full range of the camera with where you place the shield. When you get one set up right, then you can replicate for all the remaining cameras. It is fast and easy. And when the harsh weather hits, which includes unrelenting SUNSHINE, youll take comfort in knowing that the shields are absorbing the all of it. Its enough that the cameras are still subjected to extreme humidity or drought conditions, that will test their ability at being suitable for outdoors. I wont punish my cameras if I can help it. I count on them for SAFETY!

Greater than one weekInstall is pretty self explanatory. Material seems durable enough to last a while in the elements. Im happier now knowing my security cams are protected.
