After a few rainstorms I decided I needed these to reduce blurry images from rain. These work perfectly. Easy to install and does the job perfectly. I used these with my Ring cameras.

Built tough! These are really big (coffee mug fits inside it) to fit the biggest cameras. The inside is black which is great for picture quality. I wish the outside was white not an cream color to try to match the exterior. Easy to install however if you have standard siding as pictured you will only be able to use the top screws. Not a problem as it seems to be fine up there with the two. I do not like the lip. I feel it will collect sludge but since we are only using the two top it might be tilted enough to let the water and such drains out the back. All in all i am glad I got this to keep the snow, ice, rain and even the sun glare from hitting or sitting on the camera. I would say it is kind of pricy but it does come with 4 covers to protect all of your cameras around your property.

I was looking for a sun and rain shield for out outdoor cameras and found this. Even though our cameras are rated as waterproof and for outdoors I think a shield like this really helps them to weather the elements like rain and direct sunlight which will wear them down after a while. The packaging was very simple, some plastic wrap and a cardboard box, easy to open. These shields are easy to mount and install, it took only a few minutes to climb up and get them anchored in to our outer wall. Do be sure to check your camera if it has antennas to ensure you get proper clearance when panning or tilting the camera. Once we had that set proper these things stayed in well and its helped with some glare we were getting when using the cameras. Very solid protection for you outdoor cameras!

Our outdoor cameras are promised to weather the elements. They do but suffer for it. Performance is compromised and life-span is shortened. Its harsh conditions outside in the best of weather! A camera shield is an absolute necessity. These are generously sized, solid, very durable, and will weather the storms unphased in that there is nothing to damage or break. These indestructible shields take the beating that is now spared your cameras. Be sure that you dont block the full range of the camera with where you place the shield. When you get one set up right, then you can replicate for all the remaining cameras. It is fast and easy. And when the harsh weather hits, which includes unrelenting SUNSHINE, youll take comfort in knowing that the shields are absorbing the all of it. Its enough that the cameras are still subjected to extreme humidity or drought conditions, that will test their ability at being suitable for outdoors. I wont punish my cameras if I can help it. I count on them for SAFETY!

Recently I had the opportunity to order 4 of these Universal Sun Rain Camera Shields in one package. I’ve evaluated a similar shield from another seller, so Im familiar with how good they are. First about this shield, then a quick story. What I liked: Well-built from ABS material. Nice looking with high-gloss white finish. Rubberized water seal on backside. Very durable; I think this shield would even deflect our Texas-sized hail without an issue! Flat black underside greatly reduces any glare and reflections from camera IR lights and spotlights. Easy to mount and includes needed hardware for most wood or brick surfaces. Dimensions accommodate most Ring cameras, most PTZ cameras, all dome cameras, and many bullet cameras providing they arent too long. In using a WI-FI camera with external antenna(s), I normally bend the antenna(s) sideways or down to avoid interference with the shield. Just make sure you maintain adequate WI-FI signal strength. Great price point for the quality of this product. Now a quick story: Ive owned WI-FI security cameras for 5 years and have evaluated 10-12 different brands and camera configurations. Ive always been a huge advocate for protecting ALL outdoor cameras. I was doing a recent evaluation of a PTZ camera ($50-75 price range) which advertised an IP66 weather rating. An IP66 rating normally protects against powerful jets of water from any direction for a 3 min duration. I finished my measurements over an afternoon, but had not yet put my shield over the camera body. That night, it started raining and it rained nearly 3 over 3 days, none heavy but constant. On day 3, the camera quit working. I put a ladder up (clear on day 4), tried to do a manual reset with no success. I opened the rubber seal underneath the camera ball to access the microSD card. At least 1 Tablespoon of water ran out of the camera. I took the camera down; it is entirely dead. Lesson relearned: Don’t wait. If you have a camera exposed outside, it needs protection. Mount your camera under a soffit (under the eve) or use a shield like this one. Summary: Strongly recommend, thanks for reading my review
