the only thing I wished it included are some way of knowing what kind of plate pressure Im putting on the plates.

I bought this product after doing research on $500 rosin presses. After getting this product home I was very pleased with the results and how it worked. This unit does what you would expect without failure. Its a 6-ton bottle jack which gives you pretty good pressure. A jack does have a tendency to get air in it sometimes but its also very easy to bleed. And if you have any problems with your unit daboress is right there to answer any emails you may have. Have fun press away!

I’ve been looking for an all-in-one style press for a while but have been put off by the price. I found this through the FC website and upon reading the reviews there, decided to purchase this through Amazon. The item arrived in a couple of days but the base/foot was damaged from a pretty hefty drop along the mailing route. After a very quick and easy couple of emails to the Dab Press customer service team, they had a brand new base shipped to me in 2 days from China at no fee! Replacing the foot was very easy, they even provided extra screws/bolts. On to the product! The press is compact with a foot print of around 12”x8”, so it can be set out of the way easily. Made of robust T and square profile tube. It’s pretty damn heavy for the size. The silicon mat that came in the box is good for setting the press on so the feet don’t scratch up your work surface! The platens heat up quickly (~5 mins) and the thermocouple reads within +/- 5f. I use a laser thermometer to guage the exact platen temps, but the unit itself is accurate enough to warrant this. The action on the cylinder is smooth and the springs retract the bottom platen without catching. It’s worth noting that the hydraulic cylender can be replaced with an 8ton one if need be. It does what it says on the tin and doesn’t break the bank either. I’d definately reccomend a DabPress for at-home use!

Absolutely no instructions for assembly very frustrating at first. Quality materials, heavy duty.. doesnt make sense why they wouldnt give instructions for assembly...

Opened the box thought packaged well went to take it out and pretty much the entire contents of the jack was covering everything, i filled the jack back up to the plug cleaned it up and it still just leaked every time i use it, and while its stored not being used doesn’t matter if its upright leaking somehow assuming just faulty jack. Plus the control box was gouged all over out of the box as well sucks. But i hate dealing with returns and crap and honestly hoped the jack wouldnt just be a dud but i should have known better.

This product was surprisingly built heavier and stronger than I expected. Does it intended job with ease. Heavy Duty! simple to assemble and use. Save some money and try this unit out

Amazing press. Great built. Use the bottle tech method to press. I wasted a good amount of flower pressing 2x4 rectangles before switching techniques.
