Works perfect as a replacement hose and handle after the original hose ripped apart. Shark wanted to charge 69.95 before tax to replace as this part is not covered under their warranty. It is purple and the original was gray but is the kind of purple that looks good with gray hues and you wouldnt know otherwise. Also received this 2 days after I ordered and shark is backorder 2-3 weeks. Glad I checked here before I caved with them.
