Using a Windows 11 laptop, I plugged in this adapter, and my ethernet cable and everything just worked! I instantly had a full wired connection, which was much more reliable, stable, and faster than my wifi connection. The cord length was just right. The adapter seems like it will last. Well worth the minimal investment to get this adapter.

Received this today, and having had many ethernet to USB adaptors in the past, I liked the way that this one looked. When used with a samsung tablet, it was recognized right away and provided decent throughput speeds. Although, when connecting to a windows machine, the connection was spotty. I ran windows update and it pulled down the driver for the network adaptor, although even after that, and a reboot, the connection kept dropping. Unfortunately, I wouldnt purchase this again and would recommend looking elsewhere.

This excellent USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet adapter works great! It was easy to install (there is no installation) and performs as advertised! I plugged it into my Windows 10 PC and it was recognized almost instantly and just worked. I then tried it on my Lubuntu laptop and again it was recognized instantly and worked flawlessly. I got this so I could transfer files more quickly across my home network than I can with WiFi. It will work perfectly for the task. The adapter feels solid and well built and appears to have a metal case over the ethernet end of it. It feels high quality. I like that. The only issue I have with it is the cord between the USB connector and the ethernet end feels a little stiff, but I think itll eventually become more flexible with use and it isnt going to break or anything. It feels firm, but it isnt too much of a flaw. Overall a great adapter at a great price!!

This product is easy to use, plug into the computer or gaming device and plug the ethernet cable into the adaptor and you are connected! Much easier than bothering with the wifi and allows for more devices to be stable on my network. I am using this product with my Nintendo Switch while docked which is no longer dropping signal, allowing for consistent gameplay. It also automatically connects any docked switch this way, when friends bring their switch over they place it into the dock and are connected instantly.

This thing is built strong and tough and just works. Plug it into a USB port on your laptop or PC, connect an Ethernet cable, wait a few seconds for the familiar USB connection chime, and youre all set. It really is that easy. No drivers to install, no app to configure, no nothing. Just plug it in and start surfing or transferring files over the network. There is not much else to say about this adapter, except that it works very well, and transfer/connection speeds are as good as the built-in NIC port on my PC. With this adapter, I am limited only by my Internet connection speed (which is nowhere near 1 gigabit.) Still, this thing is awesome. Highly recommended. This is an ASIX ax88179 based adapter that is widely supported by various systems. The build quality of the cable and enclosure is very good and feels sturdy. Works great so far!

Main reason why I bought this to have it just 8n case if my internet is down and I need to check whats wrong. That is how you troubleshoot router modem issues. If router has issues, you would connect this to your modem via hardline cat 5. If you get internet, its a router issue. If not, then your service provider issue. I connected it to win 11 machine, and in 7 seconds I had service. No drivers needed. Windows recognized and installed drivers in no time. Both lights blinking. Very happy customer.

This was one of the easiest hardware installs I’ve ever done. Immediately worked on our Nintendo Switch and significant improvement in download speed from Wi-Fi. I would highly recommend this product for any Nintendo Switch user!

I took it out of the box and plugged it into my ethernet-less laptop and gave it a few seconds to configure itself. I then plugged up an ethernet cable and waited about 20-30 seconds for it to get the connection and give internet and I was then up and running. AWESOME!!!

I ordered this because I needed a USB to Ethernet cable for one of my computers. This adapter works great and no complaints here. The flexible cable is strong but allows some flex. the USB and Ethernet connectors are both excellent and provide maximum bandwidth. This cable is my second order from Fairikabe company and it is really a well built product and deserves 5 stars
