I checked the review/Q&As before purchase, a couple of customers reported it worked. Nope, upon receiving the charger, it doesnt charge. Otherwise, it appears to be a product. It did charge through USB-C to lightning, but thats not what I purchased it for.

This is a fantastic power adapter for the money, especially when on sale for under $12. I bought a couple when they were on sale and they worked great, but one of them stopped working after 4 months and after testing I figured out it was completely dead. I contacted Anker support and the representative I had was great. He emailed me a prepaid label to ship the defective charger back and I had a brand new charger within the week. So, good customer support saves the product from a bad review. I figured I just got a bad one from a fluke but will update my review if anything changes.

Great product alternate to apple charger.

This charger is bigger than you might think - the body of it larger by volume that Apples (by more than 8.5%). But its prongs do fold away so there is that I suppose. Apples is slimmer and so are better for packing in my opinion.
