My grandson could not stop staring at it. Its bright and cheerful colors will grab any infants attention. The sections crinkle. The tail has a soft teether attached, which I think is great. Makes for a great gift.

This little Caterpillar is very well made, bright and super cute. This toy is definitely perfect for tummy time but really, any play time is great for the babies with this multi-textured little guy. This would make a perfect gift for baby, but also a great baby shower gift. I would definitely buy this again and I hope you find this review helpful!

Love that this toy has a ruler to measure babys growth. Wish it had lights, though. The button inside the head for music is hard to push. The squares are either crinkle paper, rattles, or different textures. The toy is about the length of my 5 month old.

Very nice toy for small children/ babies! The bright colors on the caterpillar are very attractive! The material is soft to the touch. Each section of the caterpillar has a different texture or sound-- the little tabbies on the body are a favorite! It washes up very nicely by hand-- I have not placed it in the washing machine-- Great item!

Great baby toy and great quality with lots of sensory stimulation features. The caterpillar head is very soft and a fleece type material. The underside of the caterpillar body is soft fleece too. Then the topside is cloth, not fleece. The topside has different colors and patterns, one of the caterpillar parts has crinkle paper inside. The tail end has a built in rattle and the caterpillar head has a built in music box. The music box plays Its a small world jingle. Its entirely instrumental, no singing. You have to squeeze the head pretty hard to get it to play the jingle, which is a good thing because baby wont be able to easily get it to play. You know those jingles get annoying fast, so its really up to the parents to get it to play. Im glad I wont have to worry about my baby constantly playing it. The underside of the caterpillar has a height chart. So if you can get your baby to lie next to it, you can measure your babys height. This would make a good gift too. It did come in a box, in case you were wondering. Box states its polyester and made in China. Highly recommend this baby toy.

This wa initially marketed as a toy that you can use to measure baby but it was less than 19 inches long. My son was born 19 inches so we could never use it for its intended purpose. There is a squeak inside of the head of the caterpillar but its very difficult to find and actually squeak. This toy is too big to use for teething and my son just likes to play with as a typical stuffed animal.

This baby toy is absolutely fabulous! The colors are vibrant, and the overall toy is soft to the touch. I like that there is a squeezy squeaker in one segment and a bell in another. The crinkle segments are great, too. I will say we call it an alligator rather than a caterpillar, but my older grandson thinks it is a dragon :)

gift for my newborn niece - the textures are great but its not super soft and cuddly.
