Soft and cute caterpillar. The material is soft and fuzzy, and silky. The knots are soft and can be gnawed on. There’s a rattle in the tail that’s cute but not too loud to startle baby. The measurements on the tummy are great for lining baby next too and monitoring growth.

If you over analyze it, it could be a little confusing as it has a caterpillars body but a dinasaurs head and tail. It looks more like and alligator to me, bit I don’t think it matters. It’s soft, has bright colors and each link or body part offers a new kind of entertainment. It plays music, has a squeaker, a rattle, crinkle paper and a teether – so many different sounds and feels to keep baby entertained. The underside of the alligator has a ruler to track growth, but personally I am not sure how that will work unless you do it while the baby is sleeping. Regardless, for $18.99 I think this is a great deal.

This will be one of those toys that my great grandson likely will deem a favorite. I know I like it, and I enjoy inter-acting and playing with the baby because of all the different features. It is easily held and not too big. It is made of colorful patterns and has so many interesting features for him to explore. Plus! It is musical! It is not a fuzzy toy that could harbor bacteria if slobbered on, and can be washed gently. I got a kick out of playing peek-a-boo with it. At 4 months old, he was entertained by it for quite awhile both on the car ride to my house, and in the pack n play. It is simply adorable. Glad I got it and highly recommend it.

My baby is 4.5 months old and likes this toy during tummy time and as an incentive to roll. We bought the alligator, but there is no music (and no music box) as advertised. It also only has two sensory parts - soft and squishy, and crinkle sound and squishy. I wish that there was a rattle or something else. The rings for teething are too hard and wrong size, so useless. It’s ok, but too expensive for what it is and it’s not advertised correctly.
