Greater than one weekYou might as well use and old fashioned umbrella that isnt as scary to pop open. And even 2 thumbs pressing on button is difficult and painful. You will get soaked struggling to get it open and have nothing else in your hands. I missed the return window or would definitely would have sent back. Just got angry every time I walked buy it.

> 3 dayFast delivery to replace my old one that broke last week. this one is much more sturdy for its big size and 10 ribs design. I love the auto open and close feature, it works smoothly and reliably. This compact umbrella is by far the best umbrella I have ever owned, perfect for my holiday next week.

> 3 dayI liked that it close with a press of a button, but it is not as sturdy as I would like. I would buy again because it is small and easy to work.

> 3 dayI have had so many umbrellas over the years, and very very few have done their job well. This umbrella is really great, and here is why I thinks so. First, it is ruggedly built and feels almost heavy duty. The shaft is thicker and more robust. The ribs are also thick and strong. The ribs are the structure of the umbrella. The umbrella is windproof. Please use common sense, that doesnt mean 65 mph winds. That kind of wind is hard to even walk in. But, in a moderately windy storm, this will hold its ground. How do I know? We had high winds for the past few days, and it is the middle of winter. I took it out in the windy weather because I was simply curious. I mean if it broke, I could at least write a review stating that. But it did not happen. We had wind gusts over 40mph and this help up like a champ. I almost lost the umbrella a couple of times, as the wind almost ripped it out of my hands. So it is windproof. Another reason, the umbrella is deep. I have had so many umbrellas that were shallow, and rain would come in from the side and I got a wet face. Not with this one. It is very deep and you are very well protected. The material is strong and waterproof, water just beads off like a well waxed car. Lastly, the umbrella has a reflective strip around the base of the umbrella material that illuminates very brightly, making you seen in dark conditions. Safety first! The umbrella opens and closes with the push of one button. It is compact and always ready when needed. It is also my opinion that for the price, this is a fantastic value. It gets 5 stars, and deserves them all.

16-11-2024With weather patterns differing from place to place, its hard to say what you may need. However, Im near the Gulf coast, and the weather can be very unpredictable. As such, Ive learned that its a good idea to have a compact umbrella in each vehicle, in case of a torrential downpour. It was in that spirit that I got an UVANTI Umbrella Inverted Umbrella Windproof Travel Umbrella with Teflon Coating and Reflective Stripe, 10 Ribs Compact Reverse Umbrella Automatic Folding Umbrella, Blue. Umbrellas vary widely in price, and the UVANTI is firmly in the low-middle price tier. Often the brand name, and not quality, is responsible for higher prices, so I went into this with an open mind. Ive included a couple photos to show you the actual item. The canopy and suspension appear to be of decent quality. The handle, on the other hand, is adequate, but feels a little cheap. The button release works well, and every time. As for the function of the umbrella, Im a fan of the inverted style... especially for ingress and egress from a car, or for entering a home or business. Its really nice to not just dump a ton of water out in an area you didnt intend. Im not really sure what the Teflon will do on the fabric. Im used to nylon canopies, of various types, and Im not sure that they typically are coated. Im not really an umbrella subject matter expert. I do now a bit about PTFE, though... If UVANTI uses Teflon, you dont have to worry about PFOA. While youd probably elect to have a larger umbrella on-hand in the event that you know rain is imminent, I would say that the UVANTI is great as a car/emergency umbrella. The reflective strip is a great feature that all umbrellas should have. Recommended
